Eden's Garden: A Surprisingly Delicious Braised Spicy Anglerfish Restaurant Near Anseong Chilgok Reservoir

I recently visited **‘Eden’s Garden’**, a popular braised spicy anglerfish (Agujjim) restaurant located near the entrance of Anseong Chilgok Reservoir.

To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of Agujjim. But this place was an exception. After trying it myself, I understood why people were lining up to eat here.

The exterior resembles a pension or a cafe, and it has a clean and spacious parking lot, making it perfect for families.
The interior has a cool, open layout with plenty of seating, and it's large enough to accommodate group customers.

???? The Secret to the Delicious Agujjim
Even the side dishes are neatly presented. The generous spread of seaweed soup, aged kimchi, acorn pancakes, and assorted salted seafood is impressive.
The main dish, Agujjim, is packed with bean sprouts, and the anglerfish is firm and doesn't have any fishy smell.
The spicy and savory sauce really whets your appetite, and even though I don't usually eat Agujjim, I couldn't stop eating it.

???? The Perfect Fried Rice Finish
After finishing the Agujjim, the highlight is definitely fried rice made with the leftover sauce.
The addition of seaweed flakes and bean sprouts creates a savory and spicy flavor that's perfect as a snack with drinks or as a meal finisher.
Personally, I would have been disappointed if I hadn't tried the fried rice – it was a real treat.

This place was so delicious that even someone like me, who doesn't usually enjoy Agujjim, was completely satisfied.
It reaffirmed my belief that “there's always a reason why people seek out certain places.”
If you're ever near Anseong Chilgok Reservoir, I highly recommend ‘Eden’s Garden’.
