Duplex: A Delightful Steakhouse Experience in Daejeon
Last weekend, my girlfriend and I visited Duplex, our favorite steakhouse in Daejeon.
As always, we were very satisfied with the neat interior and the Western cuisine cooked directly by the owner chef.

Duplex, a cafe with warm lighting in a red brick building, has a cozy exterior that makes you want to go inside even on a rainy day.
There is an X-banner in front of the store that says there is a 20% discount for takeout. It's a great place to grab a cup of coffee even if you're not eating. The weather has been quite chilly lately, so it would be nice to take a walk with a warm coffee.
As you enter, you'll notice the window seats filled with natural light and the clean interior. It's a quiet and warm space, perfect for spending some leisurely time.
The phrase 'Fresh ingredients, honest food' perfectly reflects the philosophy of this place. There are often stores that display phrases that show the store's philosophy, and it's reassuring to feel the heart with which they operate the store.
The cozy lighting, plant decor, and soft music all came together to make it a truly 'sweet brunch restaurant'. I could immediately see why people who find this place through Daejeon restaurant recommendations fall in love with the interior.
I was able to check out the various menu items on the table kiosk ordering system. They had everything from brunch to pasta, risotto, and pizza.

Before the meal, I noticed a 'Review Event' notice! If you write a Naver review after your visit, you can receive a drink or dessert service.

Sometimes I'm disappointed if the shrimp in the shrimp risotto is small cocktail shrimp, but I was satisfied that large shrimp were trimmed to the tail.
The second menu item I ordered was the popular 'Basil Cream Pane Pasta'.
The soft and rich cream sauce was full in the bread, so if you dip the pasta in it, you'll be filled with happiness. The bread part was also crispy and moist, so I ate it all without leaving any.
This menu alone is enough reason to recommend this Daejeon restaurant. It's a menu I highly recommend as a best menu.
It's delicious to eat the noodles and bread separately, but it tasted even richer when I put the noodles on the bread.
Drinks that can refresh you from time to time while enjoying the main course! I ordered 'Orange Hallabong Ade' and 'Lemon Ade', and they were full of pulp and tasted like real fruit.
Finishing with a refreshing ade instead of coffee went perfectly with the brunch atmosphere.
Since Duplex is a famous steakhouse in Daejeon, I ordered chop steak as an additional menu. I tasted both the regular steak and the chop steak, and the ingredients were good and the cooking was well done.
The bite-sized sirloin, a famous steak in Daejeon, was cooked moist, and thanks to the sweet sauce, I kept reaching for it without feeling burdened. It wasn't greasy and was clean when eaten with the salad.
I couldn't help but think, 'My parents would really like this if I brought them here.' It's a great place for a family meal among the Daejeon restaurant recommendations.
I was very satisfied with the combination of warm, properly cooked tomatoes, sweet sauce, and soft chop steak.
I thought, 'This is definitely a Daejeon steak 맛집 (delicious restaurant)'.
Finally, I took a picture of the exterior. I was satisfied with the atmosphere, taste, coffee, and service, so I'm planning to visit with my parents next time and try other menu items.
