As a food enthusiast specializing in Damyang cuisine, I couldn't wait to share a newly discovered restaurant that caught my radar.

Located near Daedong Industrial, the bright yellow exterior of the restaurant is easily noticeable from a distance. It’s not hard to find, especially since it’s close to the PARES Motel, and the new building offers a pleasant ambiance even before stepping inside.

Since our company often needs to transport equipment with trucks, parking is a priority when choosing a dining location. This restaurant has a spacious parking lot, making it accessible even for novice drivers.

Despite being a popular spot for locals during lunch hours, there was ample parking space, which was very convenient.

Upon entering, the newly opened establishment sparkled with cleanliness. The spacious table arrangements provide a comfortable setting for family gatherings or group meals.

During our visit, the owner mentioned that this is the first Golden Codfish branch in Jeollanam-do to offer unlimited self-made pancakes and fried eggs. It was a fun experience to enjoy freshly made pancakes before the main dishes arrived.

I asked if I could really indulge in the unlimited refills, and the owner encouraged me to eat to my heart's content!

Seeing families with children enjoying their meals made me want to bring my kids here next time.

The freshly cooked pancakes, crispy on the edges, were a delightful treat. Pairing them with the makgeolli I will introduce later made for a fantastic combination.

Thanks to these services, the restaurant has already gained popularity, bustling with customers as lunch hour approached. It’s clear why this place is considered a local favorite.

Here, you can also help yourself to side dishes, which include acorn jelly, various seasoned vegetables, and more. Personally, I found the tofu kimchi to be exceptionally tasty, and I highly recommend trying it.

The side dishes were generously replenished, showcasing the restaurant's hospitality. Each side dish was well-balanced and healthy, making it easy to keep eating.

We took advantage of the weekday lunch special, which offered excellent value for money. Hearing that the Damyang County Mayor had visited and dined here boosted my confidence in the place.

Finally, our order of braised codfish arrived, topped generously with rich roe and gon. The visual presentation was impressive, and the seasoning was mouthwatering.

The roe was tender and flavorful, while the gon had a delightful chewy texture. The seasoning was not overly spicy but rich and savory, making it a perfect rice companion.

As I mixed the seasoned codfish with rice, finishing a bowl was effortless. In fact, I ordered an extra bowl to share with my colleague.

With its spacious layout and welcoming atmosphere for group reservations, I decided to recommend this place for an upcoming gathering with friends.

Currently, they are offering a promotion where leaving a review with your receipt earns you a free side dish of seasoned radish, which pairs perfectly with the braised codfish.

After our meal, we enjoyed free drinks in the café space provided in the restaurant, making it convenient to chat without needing to go elsewhere.
