Discovering My Go-To Cocktail Bar in Konkuk University Area: Mix Lounge Review
I stumbled upon my new favorite cocktail bar while visiting Konkuk University ( 건대 ) on a weekend evening!
It's been a while since I've been to a bar in the Konkuk University area where cocktails tasted so much better than whiskey.
I ordered one whiskey and two cocktails.
The bar manager was friendly, helpful, and provided great explanations about the drinks.
And surprisingly, there were Japanese tourists! I don't know how they found the place.
We had a great time together before I headed home.
Here's my review of <Mix Lounge>, a trendy bar in the Konkuk University area where you can have fun with the bar managers.
I had a glass of Balvenie 12 Year Old (₩12,000), a Negroni (₩12,000), and an Old Fashioned (₩19,000).
I also ordered Nuts & Olives (₩10,000) to go with my whiskey!
They also have a dart game.
Compared to other whiskey bars, the interior is spacious and luxurious, but the side dishes and cocktails are reasonably priced between ₩10,000 and ₩15,000.
I highly recommend it as a casual meeting spot in the Konkuk University area.

Cocktails are divided into Easy/Normal/Hard/Shooter.

Personally, I can splurge on a big luxury for ₩30,000 alone.
It's a pleasant and delicious whiskey bar in the Konkuk University area, so I'll definitely visit again 1000%.

To be really, really honest... I ate Negroni at Mix Lounge.
I thought, is this what this cocktail is supposed to taste like?
It's so delicious..! I was thinking about the quality that comes out at this price.
I was surprised that it was classically luxurious and delicious.
I definitely want to recommend Mix Lounge to those looking for a cocktail bar in the Konkuk University area.

Bouchard chocolate that goes well with whiskey came out.

Old Fashioned is a whopping 40 degrees?!
I didn't know at all and it was so delicious that I ate it all up.
I was going to order another glass, but I found out that I had a Zoom meeting in the evening.
I had to quickly go to the cafe next to me to participate in the meeting.
I had no choice but to come out quickly.
The bar managers are friendly and friendly.
They were good at continuing the conversation.
It was a dopamine-filled day where I could enjoy a drink after a long time.
Even on this day, two real Japanese tourists came.
I had a fun conversation with them.
It was a day that energized my boring daily life after a long time.
I felt that foreign tourists really liked it because the bartenders were so fun.
Two Japanese tourists said that they had no connection with Korea and this was their first visit.
Actually, I thought they were exchange students at Konkuk University.
They were from Fukuoka, who had never been to Korea before.
I wondered how they found out and asked the bartender if foreigners often come.
He says they come from time to time...

It's a good cocktail bar in the Konkuk University area for group gatherings.
I guess it's a place that's known by word of mouth.
I want to visit again next time ^-^
