Recently, a friend of mine said they would visit Busan, and I wanted to take them to a delicious restaurant, so I found a sashimi place in Gwangalli.

I'll share a detailed review of the lobster sashimi course at Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant, which both my friend and I were thrilled about.

1. Location & Address of Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant

The Iodo Sashimi Restaurant, which has a memorable name and a clean ambiance, is located right in the middle of Gwangalli Beach.

Not only does it serve lobster, but it is also known for a variety of seafood, including sashimi and snow crab.

There is a spacious parking lot in the basement of the building where the restaurant is located, making it convenient to drive there.

There is also a surface-level parking lot that supports parking, so we parked and walked there quickly.

Upon entering, we were greeted by a surprisingly large and spacious dining area.

Just seeing the neat group tables made me realize that this place is also famous for group gatherings.

The reason my local friend recommended Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant is not only because of the ocean view but also because the owner is skilled enough to have won awards for fresh fish.

I always live by the sea, but my friend was so impressed by the view that it lifted my spirits as well.

They even provided aprons, so we put one on and took our seats.

My friend particularly enjoys crustaceans, so we quickly ordered the Iodo Special, which comes with steamed lobster.

The Iodo Special allows you to enjoy lobster as the main dish along with assorted sashimi and various seafood side dishes.

2. Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant's Course Menu

As expected from a course menu, the food and side dishes came out in order, but we requested everything to be served at once, and the table was filled generously for four people, which was very satisfying.

Among the plentiful dishes on the table, the first one that caught our chopsticks was the scallop.

It naturally drew my attention as an appetizer, and the freshness of the ingredients made it taste delightful.

The grilled fish steak was also served in a perfect size for three to share, and the flesh was incredibly tender, truly a treat.

As soon as the salted crab came out, my salivary glands were stimulated, and I found myself grabbing a piece without realizing it.

The sweet and salty flavor really whetted my appetite.

It was surprising that such high-quality dishes were provided as basic side dishes, like the shrimp tempura at Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant.

Served with a special sauce, the fried shrimp was truly a taste that made me want to enjoy it with drinks.

The sea cucumber dish, made with fresh sea cucumber innards, was my first time trying it, but it was quite delicious.

With the aroma of the sea and a soft texture, I thought it might be polarizing, but my friend said the unique flavor was addictive.

The rock sea squirt, neatly prepared in a large bowl, also received a great response.

Cut in half, we could easily scoop out the insides, and the moistness of the sea squirt was perfectly felt.

3. Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant's Tuna

Tuna was included in the basic set, making the meal truly substantial.

It was thawed just right, and there were various cuts, adding to the enjoyment of trying different flavors.

4. Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant's Assorted Sashimi

The assorted sashimi, one of the main dishes of the Iodo Special, was visually stunning.

Various white fish were neatly sliced and presented.

5. Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant's Steamed Lobster

The steamed lobster, another star of the Iodo Special, boasted an incredible visual that made it feel like a grand entrance.

6. Iodo Sashimi Restaurant's Hanwoo Galbi

Lastly, we tried the Hanwoo galbi, which was included in the basic side dishes, and since it was Hanwoo beef, I couldn't resist even though I was full.

This meal at Gwangalli Chilseong Sashimi Restaurant, recommended by a local friend, was truly delightful.
