Discovering Authentic Thai Flavors at Thai Ban Jom in Gwangmyeong: A Pad Thai and Noodle Soup Paradise!

Hello :)
Today, I'm excited to introduce you to:
Thai Ban Jom, Gwangmyeong - a true Gwangmyeong Thai food gem!
This is my review of finding the best Pad Thai and rice noodles at Thai Ban Jom, Gwangmyeong.
It's one of the must-visit restaurants in Haan-dong,
and I'm thrilled to share my experience at this amazing Thai restaurant in Gwangmyeong!
When you think of Thai food,
aren't Pad Thai and rice noodles the most famous dishes?
That's why I went on a quest to find a Thai restaurant where I could enjoy these dishes in Korea.
Even though it was a little past lunchtime on a weekday,
the place was bustling with people.

It seemed like a great place for anyone to come and enjoy a delicious meal comfortably, even solo diners.
I thought to myself that I should definitely come back here when I'm craving rice noodles alone.
The walls were decorated with what seemed like authentic photos and unique items directly from Thailand.
It gave me a surreal feeling, like I was actually eating in Thailand.

Even the tables looked like something you'd find in Thailand, and ordering was easy using a tablet.
We ordered:
Pad Thai
Beef Rice Noodles
We noticed that if you leave a review on the receipt, you can get either sweet potato spring rolls or a Coke/Sprite for free!
hehe
While setting up our chopsticks after ordering,
my stomach started to rumble as I waited.
While waiting, I noticed that the tablet provided instructions on how to best enjoy each dish with different sauces.

Since we ordered rice noodles and Pad Thai,
we only used the spicy sauce and sugar.
There was also Sriracha sauce for dipping the rice noodles,
along with "Prik Nam Pla," which seemed like something you'd find in Thailand.
It's like chili sauce?
I think it cuts through the richness of the food,
but I didn't need it because the dishes were perfect as they were.
It was just right, so it tasted great as it was.
Our food is here~~
The rice noodles came out first,
so I immediately took a bite.
lol
Starting with the Pad Thai, it contains various ingredients like
shrimp, eggs, bean sprouts, peanut powder, etc.

Especially, the taste is completely different depending on whether you mix in the peanut powder or not,
so make sure to mix it in!
I heard that Pad Thai tastes even better with sugar,
so I added some because I like my food sweet.
It was sweet, sour, and salty -
all the flavors were there!

Even my husband, who doesn't usually like Thai food,
said, "Oh? It's good,"
and ate everything.
It's a Korean-style Pad Thai restaurant that even people who don't normally like Pad Thai can enjoy without hesitation.
There must be a reason why it shows up when you search for restaurants in Haan-dong.

Next up is the Beef Rice Noodles.
I think beef noodles have less of a unique smell and tastes better,
so I ordered the beef version.
First, I tried the noodles and bean sprouts.
Yummy~
And eating it with the beef is the ultimate experience!
I ran out of noodles, and they happily gave me more!

I had already requested extra noodles when ordering,
so they gave me extra from the beginning.
I ate a few bites and added them right away!
It felt like everything went back to how it was supposed to be, lol.
The broth was incredibly rich,
with a deep flavor that seemed to have been simmered for hours.

I usually only eat at franchise rice noodle places,
but this was so good that I'll have to come back often.
hehe Rich broth hehe
And when you pick out the noodles and beef and eat it with Sriracha sauce,
you can't stop eating it.
My husband also said it was delicious
and it was the best meal he had eaten recently.
If you're looking for a great restaurant in Gwangmyeong,
I highly recommend Thai Ban Jom, which is famous in Haan-dong.
