During my trip to Jeju, I was looking for a place to eat near the The Sea and CC, and one of my companions confidently took me to Bumyeong, claiming it was a favorite among locals. The anticipation grew with the description of a quiet atmosphere where I could enjoy authentic black pork.

Upon entering, I found a calm environment with well-arranged tables, creating a perfect setting to focus on the meal. Bumyeong is indeed a great choice for a restaurant near The Sea and CC.

We ordered the Bumyeong Black Pork (800g) along with spicy cold noodles. The beautifully arranged table set the mood high right from the start, increasing our excitement for the meal.

Located in Ido-dong, Jeju City, Bumyeong is easily accessible, and the staff provided helpful parking information at the counter, making it convenient to park.

The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, well-maintained and clean, allowing us to concentrate on our meal without distractions.

Notable celebrity visits were displayed on the walls, conveying the restaurant's long-standing popularity.

Hearing that the owner operates the meat processing plant added to my trust in the quality of the meat served.

The menu featured a variety of options centered around Korean beef and black pork, with ample side dishes, making it easy to choose according to our preferences.

We ordered a whole black pork, which included various cuts like pork neck, belly, and more, allowing us to enjoy different flavors simultaneously.

When ordering the black pork, we received a complimentary serving of grilled intestines, enhancing our dining experience without extra charges.

We started grilling the pork neck and belly, and the thick cuts increased our anticipation as they cooked. The pork neck was juicy and tender, while the belly had a delightful chewiness and richness that intensified with every bite.

The soup provided alongside the beef was warming and helped cleanse the palate between bites.

The marinated crab was perfectly paired with rice, delivering a burst of umami that made every bite worthwhile.

Various side dishes like green onion kimchi and fresh vegetables were served, elevating the meal's flavor and allowing for enjoyable combinations.

As we grilled the tomahawk, the enticing aroma filled the air, captivating our attention. The meat was light yet flavorful, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.

Every bite was tender, and the meat near the bone was particularly enjoyable, allowing us to savor the essence of the pork.

The final cut, the pork jowl, was rich and flavorful, with a delightful crunch that complemented its juiciness.

Fresh lettuce wraps were generously provided, allowing for creative combinations that kept the meal flowing seamlessly.

The complimentary soybean paste stew was hearty and balanced, adding depth to the meal.

The additional order of spicy cold noodles served as a refreshing conclusion, perfectly complementing the rich flavors of the meat.

In summary, Bumyeong is a memorable dining spot in Jeju that I would recommend without hesitation for anyone seeking a quiet place to enjoy black pork. I left with a strong desire to return.
