Delicious Yakiniku and More at Nikunokyoori in Yaksu!
Finished up my morning errands on my day off and came with my brother for some delicious food!
We went to Nikunokyoori in Yaksu. I liked that the restaurant wasn't too big!
It was fully booked that day, so we had to wait a bit, but since it was a Monday, we only waited about 30 minutes to get in.
Except for one table for four in the back, all the seating is at the bar. It was nice being able to watch the chefs cooking from the bar! (And it wasn't uncomfortable at all.)
We ordered beer as soon as we sat down!
Nikunokyoori has a diverse menu, but I also appreciate their solid drink list. They have soju, beer, whiskey, and even wine! (The best!)
One of the advantages of sitting at the bar is being able to see all the beautiful cuts of meat up close!
Since we both love meat, we ordered the Korean beef yakiniku platter for 3 people. It's 79,900 won for 450g.
As an appetizer, we ordered the Gyutan Harumaki (1pc - 4,000 won). It's a spring roll stuffed with minced beef tongue and it was so delicious!
The side dishes included kimchi, pickled onions, and seasoned green onions. The kimchi and seasoned green onions were amazing... I ordered Jjapagetti (Korean instant noodles) right after eating the kimchi. (We refilled the kimchi and seasoned green onions three times!)
I had to film the sauce being poured on!
The sirloin yakiniku was incredibly tender and delicious! It melts in your mouth as soon as you eat it! I ordered another beer right after the first bite!
The meat grilling was amazing. I want to eat it again even as I'm writing this ㅜㅜ
Here's a chef making the Jjapagetti we ordered. The open kitchen is very clean, and the servers are very friendly.
Here comes the Jjapagetti! This isn't just Jjapagetti, it's like real Jajangmyeon (Korean-Chinese black bean noodles)!
It's incredibly moist and tender.
It comes with lightly grilled lettuce, green onions, bonito flakes, and a super tender omelet with minced meat inside. You could definitely be full eating just this!
I was so focused on eating that I didn't catch what cut of meat this was, but oh well, it was delicious!

Ugh...it's just delicious! Everyone should go!
