and fantastic flavors. If you want to enjoy a neat and fulfilling Jeju set menu,
head straight to this place!
With a variety of dishes made from fresh ingredients,
friendly service, and breathtaking ocean scenery,
my satisfaction level was off the charts.
1. Directions and Parking Information
Galchi Sea is located right in front of Aewol Cafe Street and Han-dam Coastal Walk,
making it easily accessible. It takes about 20 minutes by car from the airport!
It's perfect for your first meal on the first day of your trip or as a grand finale on your last day.
Parking can often be a hassle at travel destinations,
but this restaurant has its own spacious parking lot,
so there was no stress at all. When you pay after your meal,
just register your vehicle number to avoid parking fees.

2. A View That Will Leave You in Awe
As soon as I opened the door and stepped inside,
I couldn’t help but exclaim in delight. The shimmering sea
stretched out like a beautiful panorama before me.
It was truly a picture-perfect view!
While they say a good meal comes after a beautiful view,
how could I eat first with such a stunning sight?
I took my time to enjoy the view before focusing on my meal.
3. A Richly Prepared Jeju Set Menu
We ordered the Jeju Braised Mackerel and Whole Grilled Mackerel,
along with Abalone Seaweed Soup, Butter Grilled Abalone,
and Seaweed Rice, served as a set for three. Note that this restaurant
offers a single menu, so just let them know the number of people,
and they’ll prepare the right portions.

If you’re still hungry, you can order extra rice, seaweed soup, or grilled abalone.
The basic side dishes were simply four items,
but everything served was substantial enough that
we didn’t need many accompaniments.
The beautifully arranged Jeju set menu was incredibly appetizing,
making my stomach rumble with anticipation.
I quickly poured the seaweed soup into my bowl.
The rich broth was filled with generous slices of abalone,
making it utterly delicious!
The butter-grilled abalone was served with a special sauce
that balanced perfectly with the sweet soy flavor.
It was a delightful combination!
4. Convenient Boneless Jeju Braised Mackerel
The Jeju Braised Mackerel was served boneless,
making it easy to enjoy without any hassle. Just scoop it up
with a spoon and it goes straight to your mouth!
The tender mackerel was infused with spicy seasoning,
making me nod in approval.
The octopus and other ingredients on top were all delicious,
especially the octopus, which was tender and chewy.
It felt like I was enjoying sashimi!
5. Striking Visuals of Whole Grilled Mackerel
The whole grilled mackerel arrived with a stunning visual,
wrapped in a beautiful silver skin.
It was hard to take my eyes off this impressive dish!
The outside was perfectly golden and crispy,
while the inside was moist and tender.
It was the perfect combination of crispy outside and soft inside!
There was no fishy smell, just a delightful and rich flavor.
The staff took care of all the preparation,
removing all the bones for a worry-free experience.
This ocean-view restaurant offers a great value for the famous Jeju mackerel,
so don’t miss out on this opportunity!
