Delicious Cheongdo Minari Samgyeopsal Near Magok NC Department Store!

Hello!
Before heading to the NC Department Store in my neighborhood this weekend for some shopping, I stopped by Cheongdo Minari Restaurant for a meal.
It's located on the first floor, making it easy to find.
Address: A-dong, 1st Floor, 113, 114, 161-11, Magokjungang-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul
Business Hours: Daily 11:30 AM - 10:30 PM (Weekends open at 12:00 PM)
They also offer lunch specials since they're open during lunchtime.
The Minari Shabu-Shabu looked delicious, and the Duck Stew seemed as nourishing as Samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup).
The restaurant is spacious inside, with storage space under the chairs, making for a comfortable and pleasant dining experience.
Even though it was lunchtime, we decided to grill pork belly (samgyeopsal) since I thought the shabu-shabu might be too spicy for my child.
I was torn between the assorted meat platter and the pork belly, but since we had a late breakfast, we opted for 2 servings of pork belly.
That was a mistake, haha!
They offer a discount for writing a review, which is much more appealing than a can of soda!
Since the restaurant is called Cheongdo Minari, I expected them to use a lot of minari (water dropwort), but the amount of minari that came with 2 servings of pork belly was incredible!
It felt like the owner's son was a minari farmer, they gave us so much!
The quality of the meat looked great, and the thickness was perfect for grilling on the gas grill. I also loved that they gave us potatoes, onions, and mushrooms as sides!
We put kimchi on the grill and arranged the meat on top so that all the vegetables could be grilled in the pork fat, and then we waited patiently.
The grill was divided into sections. I'm not sure if one of them was specifically for garlic, but I liked that the garlic didn't run away when I grilled it there.
The quality of the minari was insane... It was tender, soft, and had a wonderfully fragrant aroma.
I heard that minari is good for purifying the blood and goes well with pork, so I ate it diligently.
I ate it wrapped in lettuce and in various other ways, and I realized we were running low on meat, so we ordered more.
Since they gave us so much minari at first, we had some leftover, so we only ordered additional pork belly without any vegetables.
14,000 won for 150 grams is a great price for such good quality meat!
The second time we grilled, there was more oil, so the minari was almost fried, haha! I liked the crispy texture of the minari too.
I also ate the nicely browned potatoes, onions, and kimchi.
The kimchi here was so delicious that I also ordered fried rice. I wondered if I was eating too much, but it was so tasty!
They took the grill away and stir-fried the rice with diced radish kimchi. There were some leftover meat and vegetables on the grill, but it tasted even better when they stir-fried it all together!
Even my husband, who doesn't usually eat fried rice because he dislikes oily food, ate a lot of this fried rice, saying it was amazing. I think it was because of the generous amount of pork belly and minari.
The crunchy diced radish kimchi was also a great addition! My 6-year-old child, enjoying the food, diligently ate next to me while drinking water.
The minari was so delicious that my husband and I talked about coming back to try the Minari Shabu-Shabu next time, haha!
If you're looking for a place for a family gathering or company dinner in Magoknaru, I highly recommend Cheongdo Minari Samgyeopsal Magoknaru Branch!
