Delicious Braised Pollack Near Nari Park: A Visit to Jorigo in Yangju

Did you all have a tasty lunch?!
I recently visited Jorigo, a well-known restaurant serving braised pollack (Koda-ri Jorim) near Nari Park.
Jorigo Yangju Branch
Address: 2nd Floor, 134 Gwangsaro, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do
Hours: Daily 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM / Break Time 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the building, so just park and head upstairs.
They take reservations and have plenty of seating inside.
You can order using an electronic menu board and pay upfront!
They even offer Dutch pay! You can automatically split the bill by entering the number of people.
When the dishes are served, they don't fill all the side dish plates initially. Instead, they give you empty plates, which was a bit unusual. They said you could fill them while they prepare the pollack!
For the salad, pumpkin porridge, and acorn jelly, you have to serve yourself from the buffet area. So, I went ahead and got some.
Meanwhile, they debone the pollack for you, which is a nice touch.
We ordered the braised pollack for three people!
The total was ₩45,000 + ₩3,000 for three bowls of rice.
They have a self-service side dish bar where you can get more of the initial side dishes.
In the back, there are drinks and coffee available.
I ordered the regular spice level, and it was perfectly balanced – spicy and sweet.
Eating it wrapped in seaweed was delicious! I finished a whole bowl of rice in no time.
Since it's near Nari Park, it would be a great place to visit during the festival season.
If you're craving spicy and sweet braised pollack, go for it!
