Hello everyone! Have you had your meal yet? Foodie Road (Mukbo Road) is here to greet you! 👋👋

There's an old-school chicken restaurant in Gozandong that's said to be even more delicious than Kyochon Chicken's bestseller, Red!

I heard it's a famous restaurant known for its Spicy Chicken (Gochu Tongdak), so Foodie went to check it out! Shall we take a look?

I didn't know why it was called Dak Haus, but it's kindly written on the sign, haha.

Dak (Chicken) + Ha (One with) + Woo (Us)

The exterior really gave off a strong vibe of an old-fashioned 'nopo' (long-standing) Korean pub.

It consists of two floors. It was a bit small, but it seemed like you could accommodate several people by removing some tables!

As expected of an old-school chicken pub, there was a TV too! Haha.

Besides chicken, they sell a variety of other side dishes.

It was a bit surprising that they also sold Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup (Gul Jjambbong) haha.

I think it would be a shame to come here and only eat chicken!

We ordered the Half Spicy Chicken and Half Fried Chicken for ₩20,000.

As always, the classic old-school pub snack of popped rice crackers came out first.

Just having this with soju...

Then came the cabbage salad with ketchup-mayo dressing and corn, piled high, along with pickled radish!

They also gave us sweet chili sauce and salt!!

I loved that the plates were so large!!

Finally, the Spicy Chicken and Fried Chicken arrived!!

I had heard of the fame of this place's Spicy Chicken.

They say it's much better than Kyochon Chicken Red! Haha.

I checked the inside of the breast meat and immediately took a bite.

Wow...

The flavor that spreads in your mouth when you take a bite is unbelievable!

It's less stimulating than Kyochon Red, but the taste feels two levels above it!!

I asked how they make this flavor, and they said they stir-fry it once more in a wok with a special chili sauce.

That's why it maintains its crispiness and the chili sauce is well absorbed into the batter!

Approved.

Next, I ordered the Fried Chicken to see the basics of Dak Haus.

I originally wanted to order the Garlic Chicken too, but I ordered the Fried Chicken to review the basics.

I definitely want to try the garlic next time! ㅠ

I dipped it in salt and ate it, and it was the original Korean fried chicken made with a wet batter.

It's a taste that makes you fall into memories! Haha.

But the chicken itself was well seasoned and very delicious!

Next, I took a bite with the sweet chili sauce.

The sweet chili sauce here was also unique!!

It wasn't just a sweet chili sauce, but a sauce with a strong gochujang (Korean chili paste) flavor.

I found it very delicious, but those who prefer regular sweet chili sauce might have mixed feelings about it!

Next time, I want to bring several people and try all the flavors! Haha.

 감동적인 장면 놀라운 광경

I'm going to eat only Dak Haus Spicy Chicken from now on, instead of that arrogant Kyochon.
