Craving-Worthy Jjajangmyeon at Songdo's Best Chinese Restaurant: A Review of Junghwaga Modern Outlet Songdo

During a recent trip to Songdo, I stumbled upon a fantastic Chinese restaurant in the Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet!
It's Junghwaga Modern Outlet Songdo, a well-known Chinese restaurant in Songdo.✨
These days, I've been having fun discovering new restaurants in Songhyeona (Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet), and this place is truly versatile, perfect for family meals or dining solo.
📍 Junghwaga Modern Outlet Songdo
Location: Basement Level 1, Dining Area, Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet
Menu: Offers a variety of options, including set menus, a la carte Chinese dishes, Tangsuyuk (Sweet and Sour Pork), Jjampong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup), and Kkanpunggi (Sweet and Sour Fried Chicken).
Kid-friendly / Convenient parking / Perfect for dining after shopping
This Chinese restaurant is newly opened at Songhyeona and is located inside the Hyundai Outlet Songdo.
It's right next to Triple Street, making it an ideal spot for a meal after shopping.
The restaurant is surprisingly spacious, and the seating is well-spaced,
making it easy to bring children along!
The tables are clean, and the lighting is warm, creating an overall upscale atmosphere.
Most importantly, I loved that there was no need to worry about parking.
Junghwaga isn't just a regular Chinese restaurant; it's a brand that aims for healthy and sincere Chinese cuisine.
It's a franchise that has appeared on many broadcasts, so its reputation is already verified!
"We strive to research healthy Chinese culture so that we can provide a carefully prepared meal, even for just one serving."
True to their word, the ingredients were fresh, and the cooking was clean,
making me feel confident in the food I was eating.
On this day, we ordered the popular Banjjeom Set B (Jjajangmyeon + Seafood Jjampong + Small Kkanpunggi),
The set was well-composed and the taste was clean, so I enjoyed a satisfying meal.
One of Junghwaga's greatest strengths is its affordable set menu options!
Banjeom Sets are divided into A, B, C, etc., depending on the combination,
and on this day, we chose Set B because we wanted to eat Jjajangmyeon, Seafood Jjampong, and Kkanpunggi (small).
✔ Composition: Jjajangmyeon + Seafood Jjampong + Kkanpunggi (Small size)
Often, these sets are disappointing in terms of taste or quantity,
but here, the taste, quantity, and composition of the Chinese set were perfect, making it highly satisfying!
Jjajangmyeon – Rich and flavorful!
Jjajangmyeon is a basic dish, but it was really clean and had a deep flavor.
The chunjang (black bean paste) flavor wasn't too strong, and the sweetness and savory taste were well-balanced.
The noodles were also chewy and the portion was generous, making it perfect for a meal for one adult!
I shared it with my child, and who doesn't love Jjajangmyeon?
It's a taste that anyone can enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.
Kkanpunggi Small Size – Small but generous?!
I thought the "small size" would be a small portion,
but I was surprised that it came out in a larger portion than I expected.
The combination of the fried chicken and the sweet and spicy sauce
boasts a fantastic harmony with Jjajangmyeon/Jjampong!
The fried chicken wasn't soggy but crispy,
and it was stir-fried with vegetables, so it wasn't greasy either.
It was a side menu that was really satisfying in terms of value for money.
Seafood Jjampong – The broth is insane!
Seriously, the highlight of the day was the seafood Jjampong broth!
The broth had a deep flavor that combined the seafood broth and the smoky flavor,
and it was more spicy and refreshing than just spicy, so it felt like it was clearing my stomach.
There was a generous amount of seafood such as mussels, squid, and shrimp,
so it was fun to pick out the ingredients, and it was amazing to eat the noodles with the broth!
Junghwaga Modern Outlet Songdo, a Songdo Chinese restaurant,
has an insane Jjampong broth! Jjajangmyeon is more than just basic! Kkanpunggi is also satisfying!
It's a place where you can enjoy a proper meal with just one set menu.
I confidently recommend it to those looking for a Chinese restaurant in Songhyeona or Triple Street.
It was a Chinese restaurant where I was satisfied with the price, taste, and atmosphere!
