Craving Chicken? My Go-To Spot in Ilsan: Daehan Beer House!
Let me tell you something about myself:
I need to eat chicken at least three times a week,
And on this particular day, I was on a three-day chicken streak – a true chicken fanatic!
I guarantee this is one of the best chicken restaurants in Ilsan.
Let me introduce you to Daehan Beer House in Ilsan Juyeop!
I've been here over 10 times already,
Because their chicken is incredibly delicious, so you should definitely visit.
It's one of my favorite chicken spots near Juyeop Station in Ilsan.
They have an outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying a cold beer after work in the cool night air.
There's also a large screen inside, making it a great place to watch baseball games or other sporting events with a group. This is already known to many people in Ilsan, and it's usually packed even on Monday evenings.
Daehan Beer House in Ilsan Juyeop offers various menus. One of their best is the Fried Squid and Chicken set. They also fry squid, which is incredibly crispy, juicy, and delicious. I usually order the Fried Squid and Chicken set, but I was craving something a little spicy today, so I went with the BBQ Chicken!
They also have a diverse selection of side dishes.
I've tried the fried squid, handmade sausages, french fries, chocolate vanilla ice cream, and more, and they're all genuinely delicious. If you've had a few drinks, the chocolate vanilla ice cream is a great way to finish your night.
They serve Hanmac and Cass draft beers, as well as a variety of cocktails, highballs, and distilled spirits like Seoul Night and Dowon Gyeolui.
One of the best perks of Daehan Beer House in Ilsan Juyeop is the complimentary scorched rice snack.
It's incredibly crispy and savory. If you order a draft beer before your food arrives,
You'll probably finish the beer while munching on it. Which means you have to order another one!
I ordered zero cola due to driving issues, but I appreciated the 500ml bottle for only 2,500 won.
It was served in a beer glass filled with ice, making it wonderfully refreshing.
As the name Daehan Beer House suggests, the kitchen area is patriotically decorated.
How could you not visit Daehan Beer House?

And even the chicken drumstick was decorated with a Korean flag. Chicken is the best in Korea!
Consider it conquered!
The drumsticks were plump and juicy.
The BBQ chicken is on the spicier side.
I didn't notice it at first, but it got spicier as I ate more.
If you're looking for a deliciously spicy chicken place in Ilsan, run over there!
The sauce was generously applied,
Giving it a spicy and rich flavor that I really enjoyed.
It's the kind of chicken I want to eat with rice!
They also grill mushrooms and serve them with the chicken, along with the neck.
Many chicken places don't include the neck, but it's definitely a plus.
A lot of people actually like the neck.
They were very generous with the sauce,
Which was great for dipping the meat.
I always order crispy fried chicken when I come to Daehan Beer House, but this was my first time trying their oven-baked chicken, and it was delicious!
In the future, I should probably increase the proportion of oven-baked chicken for health reasons.
Always a delicious meal, this is my go-to chicken spot in Ilsan!
