Chebudong Janchi House: Affordable and Delicious Korean Food near Gyeongbokgung Palace!

Hello!
Today, I'm sharing my review of Chebudong Janchi House (Main Branch) in Seochon near Gyeongbokgung Palace, a restaurant famous for its affordable and delicious Korean food!
It's located in the Sejong Village Food Culture Street!
It's also super close to Gyeongbokgung Station - just a 1-minute walk!
Very accessible!
⏰ Business Hours ⏰
Every day 11:00 - 22:30
If you want to eat meat, head to Chebudong Janchi Grilled Pork Ribs instead!!!
It's just a little further down the road!
Maybe it's because it's been on TV a lot, or maybe it's because it's known as an affordable and delicious place in Seochon near Gyeongbokgung...
The line was quite long..!
But the turnover is fast, so the line moves quickly.
Trust me, wait and
You absolutely must... Must!
Give it a try~!!
I ordered:
Janchi Guksu (Banquet Noodles): 4,000 won
Gamja Jeon (Potato Pancake): 12,000 won
Memil Jeonbyeong (Buckwheat Crepe): 6,000 won

First up, the super basic Janchi Guksu!
But I really missed this taste so much ㅜㅜㅜ
It tastes like the Janchi Guksu my mom makes.
It's much tastier than what you'd get at a regular snack bar!
Maybe it's the atmosphere, but
The thin noodles are delicious!!!
It feels like the Gupo noodles
The noodles and broth genuinely tasted like what my mom makes at home, so it was very heartwarming and nice.
In this era of high prices, Janchi Guksu for 4,000 won?!
You gotta go eat it right away.
The Potato Pancake is beyond words..
So chewy and delicious!
It was the most expensive dish I ordered that day.
lol
(But it's only 12,000 won...)
They had various kinds like Mung Bean Pancake, Oyster Pancake, Seafood Pancake, etc.
I want to try the other pancakes next time!
The Potato Pancake was so good,
I wanted to try the other things.

The Buckwheat Crepe was just okay..!
It wasn't the Buckwheat Crepe I was expecting..!
It was a very unique taste.
The outside was a bland buckwheat batter,
and the inside only had radish kimchi..? filling.
I imagined a Buckwheat Crepe like a dumpling,
so I was a little taken aback because it was different.
Hehe
It wasn't my style!
