Chamsemi Barley Ssambap

Location: 7-19, Deokgye 5-gil, Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do

Operating Hours: 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM

Parking Information: Parking lot available next to the restaurant

Wow... it's so generous and only ₩10,000 per person... Isn't that amazing?!

A dreamy moment

These days, I'm trying to stick to a diet, so I resisted my husband's temptation to go to a Chinese restaurant again.

I was brainstorming for dining out options that I could eat while dieting, and I decided to visit Chamsemi Barley Ssambap, a restaurant in Yangsan's Deokgye Market that I had saved to try.

Since I was eating after exercising, I ended up having lunch around 3 PM.

I was a little worried that there might be a break time since the operating hours of Chamsemi Barley Ssambap weren't listed.

Wonderful photo

The operating hours of Chamsemi Barley Ssambap are from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

They start preparing your meal as soon as you arrive.

I also wasn't sure if there was a parking lot, but there was a large parking lot next to the restaurant.

It seems to be shared with other businesses.

Peaceful scenery

The menu at Chamsemi Barley Ssambap is just one set meal.

It comes with a generous amount of vegetable wraps and side dishes.

They recently raised the price to ₩10,000, but after seeing what they serve, I think they should charge more!

A hopeful tomorrow

I really wonder if they make any profit selling it so cheaply!

The owner is also quite elderly.

Since we went at 3 PM, one of the elderly staff members was just continuing with her work of preparing side dishes, and the owner was constantly cooking in the kitchen.

At first, I thought it was break time, lol.

Peaceful scenery

The restaurant is really spacious.

At this price, it must be packed during lunchtime!

A fun moment

They served scorched rice tea!

And they even gave us bottled water - what a thoughtful touch!

Even though the outside temperature was 35 degrees Celsius, they had the air conditioning blasting, so the hot scorched rice tea was really delicious.

They have a sign saying they sell hairtail fish.

The fish that comes with the side dishes is really delicious, so I think customers must have asked them to sell it.

I've only eaten good fish since I was little, thanks to my father who works in the fishing industry (thank you!).

I don't usually eat fish served at restaurants, but the grilled fish here was really delicious.

It seems like there are 18 side dishes.

I can't believe this!

They give you both meat and fish as the main dishes.

And one fish per person!

Beautiful scenery

Orders are only available for 2 or more people.

But I have a feeling that even if you came alone and ordered for 2, it would be a very satisfying meal for someone with a big appetite.

They also give you two kinds of soup!

They give you a generous amount of soybean paste stew.

And that thing on the right... I don't think it's soup, is it dried radish greens...? What is it?! Anyway...

It's very salty, so I kept eating rice.

Peaceful scenery

The vegetables are also very fresh.

I think they might grow them themselves?!

I'm not sure, lol.

Japchae (glass noodles with vegetables)! They sell that amount for ₩12,000 at Gwangjang Market!!!

My American brother-in-law likes japchae, so we ordered it when we went to Gwangjang Market.

I was shocked when that much came out, lol.

Warm memories

Huff... Is this pumpkin leaves?! Right?!

My mom and dad always worry about me, saying that I'm over forty and can't even take care of the household.

But it's okay...

There are experts in every field, lol.

Everyone just does what they're good at, earns money, buys what they want, and uses services.

Since I'm on a diet, I didn't pay much attention to it before, but my husband ate it all up before I knew it?!

Touching scene

Was it delicious...? I should have tried just one bite, lol.

Since I'm on a diet, I focused on the wraps.

Wow... but the fish is really freshly grilled, so it's so delicious!

If you go when they're not too busy, you might be able to eat freshly grilled fish.

Attractive photo

Actually... the reason I looked for this place was because there was a Ssambap restaurant called Wow Ssambap near our studio.

It opened and closed in just 5 days?! I went there, and although the wraps were unlimited for ₩12,000, the side dishes weren't very appealing and the taste...

I was disappointed after expecting so much.

And since it closed in just 5 days... It's now a barley rice restaurant.

Mystical appearance

At that time, I was thinking, "Are there no delicious Ssambap restaurants nearby?!" and my husband found this Deokgye restaurant on the Woongsang Story Cafe!

Both my husband and I were so satisfied that we'll probably go here at least once a week.

The restaurant is really spacious.

I want to bring my mom, dad, and American sibling here!

Interesting image

You can use the coffee machine yourself!

I can't believe I'm only discovering this place now...

I'll have to come here often.

If you're looking for a great restaurant in Yangsan's Deokgye Market, you must go to Chamsemi Barley Ssambap!

Definitely go!!
