The restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Jamsilsaenae Station Exit 3, located near the entrance of the Jamsilsaenae Market, making it easy to find.
Inside, there are plenty of tables, making it a great place for group gatherings or company dinners. Even though we visited late, around 9 PM, it was still quite crowded.
One side has a butcher section where you can select your cuts of beef or tell them your preferences, and they'll slice it for you.
Daesung Butcher Shop Restaurant Menu:
Since Daesung Butcher Shop Restaurant offers top-quality Hanwoo at reasonable prices, there is a table setting fee:
Adults: ₩3,000 per person / Children: ₩2,000 per person. It’s a reasonable price.
They also sell Jirisan (Mount Jiri) pork belly for lunch special: ₩16,000 for 180g.

At Daesung Butcher Shop Restaurant, the owner provides recommendations based on your preferences when you select your beef! The marbling was truly mesmerizing.
We decided to start with the assorted special cuts, which had a variety of options.
We wanted to try the 'shrimp-cut' chuck flap tail meat (새우살), but they didn't have it that day, or they weren't selling it. I don't quite remember.

When you are seated, they put a chunk of beef fat on the grill and set up the basic side dishes.
They provided pickled onions, onion sauce, salt, dongchimi (radish water kimchi), green onion salad, salad, garlic, and doenjang (soybean paste).

The Korean Beef (Recommended) Assorted Special Cuts we picked were 390g for ₩89,550. It looked delicious! So exciting! >.<

While grilling the beef, they also served us yukhoe (beef tartare), which was the perfect snack with drinks. The chewy texture was amazing!

We grilled the beef perfectly, locking in the juices with a crispy outside and tender inside. My husband grilled the beef, and I grilled the garlic. Hehehe!

Since we were also celebrating our 700th day, I asked my husband to use the beef to make a 700! Hehehe!

Time to taste the perfectly grilled premium Korean beef! We enjoyed it with a shot of soju.

We tried it with salt and with the provided onions.

We also ate it with the green onion salad and by itself. Of course, Hanwoo is always delicious. The more you chew, the nuttier it gets, and the juices explode in your mouth. It's really delicious. TT

The green onion salad cuts through the richness of the beef, allowing you to keep eating it. That is its charm.

You also need to eat vegetables with your meat >.< Please give us more onions!

Since Korean beef is best enjoyed right away, my husband grilled it piece by piece according to my preferences.

We also grilled our favorite garlic. And in between, we ate the yukhoe. I recommend dipping the yukhoe in the provided sauce. My appetite exploded!

The second cut we got was the Queen Ribeye: 332g for ₩86,320.

It was a big size, and the marbling was insane! The color looked so delicious. It's a shame it didn't have the 'shrimp-cut' part.

Starting round two, we put the beef on the grill with garlic and king oyster mushrooms, grilling them deliciously in the beef fat.

My husband grilled it perfectly again. I really love Korean beef! The mushrooms were nicely browned too.

We happily finished three bottles of soju with the premium Korean beef! Many people finish with doenjang bap (soybean paste rice), but we were too full. TT

Daesung Butcher Shop Restaurant in Jamsilsaenae is already a well-known spot for people in Songpa, but it was my first time visiting (as a person from Seochon)!

Since the Hanwoo was so delicious, the soju went down easily. When I crave Korean beef, I'll definitely go to Daesung Butcher Shop Restaurant. You can use Onnuri Gift Certificates, so you get a 10% discount - what a steal! I will go here for Korean beef from now on!
