A few days ago, I visited a Korean BBQ restaurant with friends that's gaining popularity as a Jamsil Seokchon Lake 맛집 (delicious restaurant). I'm writing a review about this place, Bondi, a Seokchon Lake view 맛집, where we enjoyed charcoal-grilled, handmade marinated fresh ribs with the best atmosphere and service.
1. Bondi Jamsil Main Branch Location
Bondi Jamsil Main Branch is located a 4-minute walk from Seokchon Station Exit 2. The gray-toned building with a flame-shaped logo sign was easily spotted.

This place is also confidently recommended by YouTuber Meat King. I was also very excited to visit after watching the YouTube video.
2. Interior Atmosphere
The interior space was impressive with its clean and comfortable atmosphere. I felt reassured about hygiene, even down to the cleanly wiped stainless steel tables.
Moreover, it turned out that many influencers and celebrities had visited this place. It was fun to look at the autograph collection displayed on one side of the wall.
The interior props that made me want to drink were also the best. It was a sight to behold for this gathering of drinkers.
3. Menu
The 영수증 (receipt) review event at this Seokchon Lake view 맛집 was really great. Other restaurants usually only give drinks or add-ons, but here, you can get slush or roasted sweet potatoes.
The menu had a total of 4 types of meat, based on fresh ribs. In addition, I ordered one of each category because the wood-fired pork rind is also trending.
Please note that you must order the pork rind in advance and request it when it's time to eat it so you can enjoy it at the right time. I also took a disposable apron, which made me feel safe about hygiene.
The basic table setting at this Jamsil Seokchon Lake 맛집 was prepared not long after we sat down, and the freshness of the side dishes, as well as the neat presentation, stimulated my appetite.
The spicy 파김치 (pa-kimchi, green onion kimchi) was a side dish that went well with the meat. The crunchy texture and the scent of green onions made me want to keep eating it.
The bean sprout salad was also my favorite. Bondi Jamsil Main Branch earned a lot of points in advance with its homemade sauce and neat side dishes.
The wood-fired roasted sweet potato, which I got through the receipt review event, was a delicacy among delicacies. Thanks to the honey sauce, I was able to enjoy extreme sweetness.
Soon, they set up a square brazier with plenty of charcoal. Thanks to the strong heat, it didn't take long for the meat to cook.
4. Handmade Marinated Fresh Ribs
Usually, if it's marinated in 양념 (sauce), it wouldn't be fresh ribs, so I asked the staff because the menu name was a bit questionable. It turns out that they don't marinate it in advance, but rather mix fresh ribs with handmade 양념 on the spot. So I was satisfied with the light flavor of the 양념.
In addition, the staff took care of it from beginning to end without us having to grill it. The meticulous grilling service at this Jamsil Seokchon Lake 맛집 was really the best.
While chatting, I noticed that the deliciously cooked meat was placed on a tray. Usually, the basic is 80~90% done, which is said to be the most moist and delicious, and you can request the degree of grilling in advance.
The handmade marinated fresh ribs were chewy yet tender, and the combination of juicy 육즙 (meat juice), charcoal flavor, and the 단짠 (sweet and salty) of the 양념 was excellent.
I didn't have to worry about getting tired of the taste because of the various side dishes. As I savored it to my heart's content, I realized that the corners of my mouth were raised all the way to my ears.
This is the rib part that proves that it is a real rib without the bone attached. If you grab the bone with chopsticks or your hands and tear off the meat, you will smile.
The sweet and sour onion slices also got along well with the ribs. The unique sweetness of the onion harmonized with the meat, adding a refreshing taste.
This time, I tried it with 멜젓 (meljeot, anchovy sauce) and perilla leaf pickles. The 육즙 burst out with the chewy texture, and the savory 감칠맛 (umami) of the 멜젓 and perilla leaves was also excellent.
5. Wood-Fired Pork Rind & Nurungji Fried Rice
The 돼지껍데기 (pork rind) was being grilled over a wood fire, with all the 기름기 (grease) removed. When I told them it was time to eat, they quickly grilled it on the charcoal grill and served it right away.
I couldn't help but smile as I took a generous amount of 고소한 (savory) soybean flour on the soft and chewy pork rind.
I would also like to recommend the 누룽지볶음밥 (nurungji fried rice) as another recommended menu item. It was Bondi's special fried rice, where the crispy 누룽지 and egg harmoniously blended together.
Certainly, I could feel the crispiness beyond the fluffy texture of the rice, so a feast of various textures unfolded. I was very full, but I finished it all without leaving anything behind.
6. Overall Review of Bondi Jamsil, a 맛집 in Seokchon Lake
It was a Seokchon Lake view 맛집 where I enjoyed the pleasure of gastronomy with a friendly atmosphere, the best service, and, above all, high-quality fresh ribs. I look forward to the unchanging taste and plan to continue to visit as a regular customer.
