Boco Seoul: An Affordable Hotel Buffet in Myeongdong - Perfect for an Autumn Date!

Right now is the perfect time to enjoy seasonal autumn flavors! I visited my favorite Myeongdong hotel, which I think of every quarter, because they're running an autumn promotion.
Boco Seoul Myeongdong is unique in that it focuses on seasonal culinary trends, going beyond the typical hotel buffet.
If you visit during lunch, you get 1 main dish + a buffet menu per person. It's one of the most affordable hotel buffets in Seoul, which is why I keep coming back.
The autumn season menu is available for about two months, until December 9th. I was so satisfied with the autumn seasonal dishes like grilled gizzard shad and chestnut gnocchi. I'd like to introduce you to this great place to visit in Myeongdong.
Additionally, you can get up to 30% off when you book through Naver. If you're thinking about a date or gathering, check out the tip below and enjoy a relaxing hotel lunch! : )
The interior atmosphere is one of its major attractions. Every time I come to the Seoul hotel buffet, I fall in love with it.
Thanks to its trendy and pop-art interior, I always feel good when I come here for a Myeongdong date. I arrived first for lunch to get a window seat, and the tables quickly filled up.

There's also a liquor package, and the lunch price range is ₩30,000, so it wasn't burdensome for our Myeongdong date.
3. Main Dish
A big advantage of the Seoul hotel buffet lunch menu is that it includes 1 main dish per person with buffet access at a reasonable price.
- Lamb Shoulder Ribs & Tarragon Sauce
- Australian Sirloin Steak & Grilled Artichoke
- Pheasant Dumpling Soup
You can choose from three types, and we chose lamb shoulder and Australian sirloin steak.
The meat menu, which is rich in chewing and tearing flavors, was of a quality that meat lovers would definitely be satisfied with.
As befits a 4-star hotel, the meat quality is also good, and the savory flavor is so delicious!
4. Autumn Promotion Buffet Menu
During this autumn promotion period, the buffet space is decorated with maple leaves and silver grass, so you can feel the season from the moment you enter.
The menus mainly focus on seasonal ingredients, and you can also enjoy Singaporean dishes, Korean food, and desserts that were popular last season, making it a win-win feast..♥
There were also a variety of hearty meal options, including LA galbi jjim (braised short ribs), sweet pumpkin and duck stew, Gongju chestnut tarakjuk (rice porridge), strengthening eel soup, black sesame porridge, seaweed abalone porridge, and acorn jelly salad, which my boyfriend especially enjoyed.
There were many dishes that filled me up with warmth.
My favorite, the Pogujip seafood stew corner, was still fresh that day with smoked salmon, sea snails, whelks, and scallops, so seafood lovers won't be disappointed.
In addition to regular salads, there were also grilled mushroom and fig & burrata salad, honey walnut & Gorgonzola spinach salad.
The trendy salad menu made my eyes spin.. I was also busy with my hands. The mushroom fig burrata salad was so good that it was on par with what you'd find sold as a single dish in a decent restaurant.
Fig & Gorgonzola Pizza
Chestnut Truffle Cream Gnocchi,
Gambas and Grilled Baguette
It was much more unique and trendy than the typical Seoul hotel buffets I've eaten before. Thanks to the seasonal ingredients, a plate full of autumn flavors could be felt.
In particular, the chestnut gnocchi was chewy and the truffle aroma combination was an explosion of savory flavor..♥
An unexpected menu item was Namdaemun Market braised cutlassfish and grilled gizzard shad.
Carefully grilling the gizzard shad, which is difficult to prepare, makes the Seoul affordable hotel buffet lineup plentiful just from the visuals.
Bori shrimp zucchini pancakes and yukjeon (thinly sliced steak) are also grilled on the spot, so you can eat them warm.
The noodle station, where you can make your own noodles, offers Vietnamese rice noodles and Singaporean laksa.
The laksa menu, which is rarely seen on Seoul hotel buffet menus, was also prepared, which was right up my alley.
Just looking at the lineup is exciting.
Sate, nasi goreng, steamed fish with fragrant vegetables,
Spicy chili crab tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), gambas, etc.
Exotic foods are also available. I enjoyed being able to taste special menus instead of the usual dishes I eat.
In the Korean corner, which you can't miss, there are ganjang gejang (soy sauce marinated crab), ganjang saeujang (soy sauce marinated shrimp), japchae (glass noodles), yukhoe (beef tartare), and bibimbap ingredients in fresh condition.
No matter how full you are, be sure to try the Korean food, which I have to eat every time I come.
5. Dessert
The dessert lineup at Boco Seoul Myeongdong has more desserts that women will especially love than baked breads!
Cinnamon Carrot Cake, Sweet Pumpkin Basque Cheese Cake.
Maple Caramel Pudding, Pear Jelly, Apple Crumble Pound,
Purple Sweet Potato Tart, Persimmon Granita
As an autumn limited dessert, there were also old-fashioned roasted sweet potatoes, roasted chestnuts, and steamed buns. There were also several spreads right next to it.
Fun to mix and match to your liking!
My boyfriend brought it three times.
Maple Caramel Pudding, Fig Shortcake Honey Flavor..♥
For the final dessert, it's nice to finish cleanly with 5 fresh seasonal fruits.
After enjoying the high-quality main menu, it was plentiful as I was able to fill my stomach with the buffet menu.
I was lucky enough to get a window seat, so the mood was so good, and I thought it was a good idea to come as the first stop for Myeongdong Station.
I was about to burst, but I couldn't give up the dessert time I had been waiting for.. ♥
I pulled out a cup of Americano and ate it with the maximum amount of sweetness, and everything from the crumble to the cheesecake and pudding was good.
6. Location
It is a 30-second walk from Hoehyeon Station to Myeongdong date spot, and a 10-minute walk from Myeongdong Station, making it very accessible.
It is a good idea to combine it with department stores, street shopping, Baekbeom Square, and Namdaemun Market, which are all worth visiting in Myeongdong.
Currently, if you book through Naver, you can enjoy the main dish and buffet food for ₩30,000, which is a great value!
Thanks to this, my Myeongdong date was 100% satisfactory.
I recommend spending a special day with an unusual combination of hotel atmosphere, menu lineup, and seasonal limited food.
Be sure to check out the Naver reservation I told you about.
Have a happy Myeongdong date.
