This is what the inside of Baekdon looks like. The atmosphere is clean and tidy!
As expected of Hipjiro, it has a trendy vibe!

These aren't all the bottles of soju *we* drank, haha.
Here is Baekdon's menu!

Although it's not on the menu above, we ordered the Char-Grilled Marinated Pork (for 2, 530g) + Black Pork Kimchi Stew.
We also ordered two servings of freshly cooked white rice!

That's it for Baekdon's menu!
The basic side dishes include dipping sauces for the meat, kimchi + green onion kimchi, and a lettuce wrap set.

Salt, wasabi, and ssamjang (Korean soybean dipping sauce) are also provided!
Fire set up complete! Since it's marinated ribs, the heat can't be too strong or it will burn easily, but it was the perfect heat level!

The char-grilled marinated pork has arrived! It's marinated ribs! Drool!
We immediately put the meat on the grill! The color of the meat looks amazing!

Concentrating so it doesn't burn!
Luckily, the heat wasn't too strong, so we were able to grill it well without burning it!

Once it's cooked to a certain point, we cut it into bite-sized pieces and...
...roll it around! When grilling marinated meat directly over the fire, rolling it around like this helps to prevent burning and keeps the juices in!

Heh heh heh, I *never* burn marinated meat!
My busy hands, lol.

While the meat was cooking, the Black Pork Kimchi Stew also arrived!
Hehehe, the charcoal grill is perfectly cooked! Not burnt and nicely done!

First, I tried it with ssamjang! It's sweet and delicious!
I also tried wrapping it in pickled perilla leaves, one of the side dishes.

Dipping it in the meat sauce, too! The minari (water dropwort) soy sauce dressing is the perfect match for the meat!
While eating the cooked meat, I put more on the grill so that the meat wouldn't stop coming!

Ssam time! A lettuce wrap with meat dipped in ssamjang and minari from the sauce!
The freshly cooked white rice has arrived! Wow... it's a huge serving!

Kimchi stew and rice! It was a complete rice thief!
Flipping it over! You shouldn't change the grill plate if you can help it. The marinade will soak into the meat better if you cook it on the same plate.

There's a lot of pork in the kimchi stew, too!
The kimchi stew broth was so rich, and the kimchi and pork were so delicious!

Lettuce, meat, and minari all together...
...and a rice-covered wrap! Hahaha.

Since we didn't change the grill plate, we have to be more careful while grilling. If you keep rolling it around, you can grill it without burning it!
Added one more serving! It was so delicious I couldn't stop! Lol.

Quickly putting more meat on the grill to keep it going!
The minari soy sauce dressing was really delicious!

Wrap party!!! The refreshing minari went so well with it!
Heh, a sushi-like bite with wasabi!

It's not too far from Cheonggyecheon Stream, so it's nice to visit after a walk! Baekdon is a truly delicious restaurant in Hipjiro! Lol.
Next time, I'm definitely going to try the pork belly and the Hambaeksan fried rice!
