Anjjok House: Highly Recommended Pork Kimchi BBQ near Jagalchi Station in Nampo-dong

I'm a big fan of pork kimchi BBQ, and my boyfriend found a great place in Bupyeong-dong. We went together, and I loved it!
The food was amazing, and the location was so convenient. I want to visit Anjjok House every time I go to Nampo-dong.

Anjjok House in Bupyeong-dong is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Jagalchi Station Exit 3, making it very easy to get to by public transportation.
Just enter the alley in front of Shinhan Bank at Exit 3, and you'll see it right away, so it's easy to find even for first-timers.
If you're coming by bus, it's easily accessible, as you can arrive within 10 minutes after getting off at the Seogucheong (Seo District Office). Chungmudong stop or Bosu Intersection stop.
Best of all, it's close to tourist attractions like Busan BIFF Street and Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, making it the perfect stop in the middle of your travel itinerary.
If you're visiting by car, you'll need to use a nearby parking lot since there is no designated parking. However, the Jagalchi Public Parking Lot and Bupyeong-dong Public Parking Lot are within a 5-minute walk, so you don't have to worry too much about parking.
The inside of the restaurant was surprisingly spacious compared to what it looks like from the outside, with quite a few seats.
It mainly consisted of tables for four, and there were also bar-style seats available, making it comfortable for couples as well as families or small groups.
The soft and cozy lighting created an overall warm atmosphere, and the tables were spaced generously, so you could enjoy your meal comfortably without bumping into the next table.
Beautiful paintings and small props were added to the walls, conveying a warm feeling.
Thanks to this, I think it would be a satisfying place for those looking for a great date spot in Nampo-dong.
The signature dish at Anjjok House in Bupyeong-dong is, of course, pork kimchi BBQ. The fact that it's a single-item menu made it feel even more professional and raised my expectations.
In addition to the original flavor, the pork kimchi BBQ is available in unique flavors such as spicy curry and Sichuan black bean sauce, so you can choose according to your preference.
It was also divided into small, medium, and large sizes, and the number of servings was determined for each size, making it easy to choose according to the number of people you're with. This made it convenient for first-time visitors to decide on the menu.
In addition, the side menu configuration is set up so that you can enjoy fried rice after eating the pork kimchi BBQ, so you can finish your meal even more satisfyingly.
Induction cooktops and personal plates were set up on the table in advance, and as soon as we sat down, they prepared spoons, chopsticks, and side dishes.
The side dishes included pickled cucumbers, dried filefish, potato salad, and warm dumpling soup.
The dumpling soup had a clean broth, and the dumplings inside were large and full of filling, making it delicious.
I heard that all of these side dishes are prepared by the owner's mother, who personally goes to the market and prepares them by hand. Her mother's food philosophy is to not skimp on the food, so it wasn't just a simple side dish, but it felt like it was made with sincerity and warmth.
Water and aprons were self-service. You could take water from the refrigerator at the entrance, and utensils such as water cups, personal plates, tongs, and scissors were neatly arranged on top, so you could easily take them.
There were even outlets installed at each table, which made me feel like they paid attention to even the smallest details.
The pork kimchi BBQ that came out first stimulated my appetite from the aroma of the meat and kimchi harmonizing on the iron plate.
The meat was lean and savory, and the aged kimchi added to the savory taste.
In particular, the meat used here is Iberico and Duroc pork neck, which is prepared for steaks, boasting a softer texture and richer juice than regular pork belly.
The savory meat and spicy kimchi were a perfect match for rice.
Also, the sauce here uses only raw ingredients without diluting it with water, so you can feel a deep and rich flavor.
It wasn't just a simple side sauce, but it enhanced the taste of the meat and made it enjoyable until the last bite.
The fried rice I ordered after eating the meat was a real treat.
Kimchi, rice, and seaweed flakes are placed on an iron plate and pressed until crispy, spreading a savory and rich flavor in your mouth.
It continued the lingering taste of the pork kimchi BBQ and finished cleanly without being greasy, and the portion was generous enough to share between two people!
