A Visit to the Christmas Village in Busan

Hello! ๐
Recently, I visited the popular Christmas Village at the Busan Cinema Center. โ๏ธ
Since I had to go with my baby, I avoided the busy weekends and went on a weekday afternoon. Hereโs my warm review!
Location: 120 Suyeonggangbyeon-daero, Busan Cinema Center.
The Christmas Village is operated by the Busan Cinema Center, which is conveniently located across from KNN.
Operating Dates and Times:
From November 27 to December 21 (Thursday to Sunday)
From December 22 to December 25 (Open all day Monday to Thursday)
Time: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Parking: If you use the Busan Cinema Center parking lot, the first 30 minutes are free, then 1,000 KRW for every 10 minutes. Due to the high number of visitors, I recommend using public transportation.
Admission Fee: Free!
However, on weekends, the waiting time is usually over 30 minutes, so you can purchase a 'Fast Track' ticket through the Publpay app, limited to 1,000 tickets per day (14,900 KRW per person).
If you have a ticket from a movie or performance at the Cinema Center on the same day, you can enter directly with the Fast Track.
Attractions and Events:
Thereโs a helpful guide posted on a big screen, so feel free to take a photo of it!
Santa Parade: November 29, 30, December 6, 7, 13, 14, 24, and 25 with two sessions each day.
Santa Photo Time: December 18 to December 25.
When I visited on a weekday afternoon, I entered without any waiting! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a path lined with trees covered in white snow, making it feel like I stepped into a fairy tale. โ๏ธ
There are photo zones between the trees, so you can take beautiful pictures there!
The Christmas Village also features various shops selling clothing, jams, accessories, and more, making it a fun place to explore.
For food, there are many options available, including Banh Mi and Takoyaki, as well as hearty meals like pasta and paella. You can even find drinks like beer and mulled wine!
In conclusion, itโs rare to see a big Christmas festival in Busan, but the Christmas Village offers a delightful experience with beautiful trees, delicious food, and engaging activities!
Donโt forget to bring hand warmers if you visit, especially if youโre going with kids. I recommend coming on a weekday to avoid long waits!
