Amazing...

~ Menu ~

I went early, so there was no waiting, but even though the restaurant is large, it filled up quickly!

There were many foreign customers.

It made me trust the restaurant more, haha.

If it suits the taste of foreigners, I thought, this restaurant must be legit!

When you order from the menu, soup and Turkish bread are provided as a basic side.

There seems to be a soup of the day!

The soup was different in every review!

The bread isn't soft like morning bread; it's firm and savory.

It's delicious when dipped in soup or curry.

Delicious Food

<Kaymak & Pide>

KAYMAK & PIDE

- ₩19,900 -

★★★★☆

Kerban's famous Kaymak!

Fresh kaymak is topped with honey and served with plain pide!

What is Pide?

A type of flatbread common in Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine.

It's often cooked in the oven with minced meat or cheese on top, like pizza!

In Turkish phonetics, it's 'Pide'.

Since it's eaten with Kaymak, plain pide is served, but the menu describes it as Turkish oven-baked sesame bread.

The explanation of Pide was long, but the Kaymak is really delicious.

You cut a little Kaymak and spread it on the Pide, and it's so good....

It feels like spreading thick, rich milk on bread.

The milky aroma is really delicious.

I think I'll want to come again just for the Kaymak!!

<Spicy Chicken Curry>

SPICY CHICKEN CURRY

- ₩17,500 -

★★★★☆

I thought eating only Kaymak might be too rich, so I ordered the Spicy Chicken Curry!

There was one chili pepper icon on the menu, but it was moderately spicy and delicious!

The curry is served with Lavash (the bread behind the curry).

What is Lavash?

A soft oven-baked bread.

It has good preservation and can be eaten without reheating, but it's said to be less soft or savory compared to other flatbreads!

It's a type of unleavened flatbread and one of the staple breads eaten in Türkiye!

I used to dip Lavash in the curry, but after I finished the Lavash, it was also good to dip the Kaymak bread (plain Pide) in the curry.

I also dipped the complimentary bread in the curry.

Spoiler alert: I also dipped the chicken I'll introduce below in the curry.

(It's a versatile curry...)

Spicy Chicken Curry

<Chicken Shish Kebab>

Boneless Chicken leg and Breast

- ₩22,500 -

★★★☆☆

The Chicken Shish Kebab contains both leg and breast meat!

What is Shish?

Turkish for 'skewer'.

Shish kebab is one of the Turkish kebab dishes, where various meats, vegetables, etc., are skewered and grilled over charcoal!

Beef or lamb is mainly used, but there are so many different types that the taste and appearance vary from region to region.

It is widely known as 'Shish Kebab' in Korea!

It's full of spices!

That's probably why there were so many foreign customers.

I'm quite sensitive to spices, but it was edible!!

The restaurant has various Turkish cultural elements, making me feel like I'm eating in the Mediterranean.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit heavy (not in a scary way!!).

Maybe because each table has a thick tablecloth, it gives a heavy feeling.

I liked that it wasn't a noisy and crowded place!!

The atmosphere is good, so it would be good for a date!

The restaurant is large, so it's also good for groups.

If you visit Samsung-dong or COEX, I hope you'll definitely go!

Experiencing the food and culture of another country gives a mysterious feeling.

I think it's because I visited an exotic restaurant.

Turkish traditional kebabs, pide, and desserts... It's a restaurant where you can experience Turkish culture and food in various ways!

They say the lamb is really delicious, so I'll have to try it next time!

That's all for today!

If there is any wrong information, please leave a comment.

I'll fix it right away!!

It would be great if you could provide additional information. ㅎㅎ

Have a happy and delicious day!

Welcome to follow each other! I will definitely visit you back, even if it's late!
