A Taste of Home: Delicious Pyongyang Dumpling Hot Pot at Bbyeokjeong in Paju

I recently visited Bbyeokjeong Pyongyang Dumplings, a delicious restaurant near Simhak Mountain in Paju, and enjoyed a wonderful dumpling hot pot!
Bbyeokjeong Pyongyang Dumplings is located near Paju Unjeong, Heyri Art Village, and the Paju Book City, making it a great place to visit while exploring Paju.
The food is healthy and not overly stimulating, so I felt happy while eating. I'd like to share my honest review.

Hours: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Break time on weekdays: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, No break time on weekends and holidays)
Parking: Ample free parking available
There's plenty of parking, so you don't have to worry about that.
We visited a little earlier than lunchtime, so we were able to enter quickly without waiting.
Bbyeokjeong Pyongyang Dumplings Paju Book City branch is quite spacious, so it seems like it can accommodate a lot of people.
A characteristic of Bbyeokjeong Pyongyang Dumplings in Paju is that it offers a warm meal that captures the sentiment of home.
What we suddenly miss in our busy lives is probably the taste of home.
Everyone has a warm dining table and the taste of their parents' cooking in their childhood memories.

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you can see them making dumplings right away.
They make handmade dumplings directly in the restaurant!
I was so happy to eat real dumplings after a long time~~
The restaurant had a tranquil charm that blended tradition and modernity!
The interior was decorated with natural materials such as walnut, reclaimed wood, and Korean paper, creating a warm atmosphere.
Sitting by the window, you can see the garden at a glance, making the meal itself feel like a healing experience.
Vinegar and spiced soy sauce are set on each table!
There are various sauces and seasonings on each table. Be sure to dip the dumplings in the spiced soy sauce!!

It is said to be a spicy and fragrant sauce or paste made by mixing various spices such as chili peppers, garlic, ginger, star anise, cinnamon, and doubanjiang.

In addition to these, there are various other menu items available, so I'm sure that families, friend gatherings, and group visits will all be satisfied!!
Group meeting spaces are also available, making it a great place for gatherings.
I visited almost as soon as it opened, so it was quiet, but by the time I finished my meal, it was almost full.
I was wondering whether to have dumpling soup, but I wanted to eat more generously, so I ordered dumpling hot pot.
You can easily order from the tablet installed at each table.
I ordered Pyongyang Dumpling Hot Pot (₩13,000), Mung Bean Pancake (₩8,000), and Pyongyang Dumpling Plate (₩8,000).
Since I'm a dumpling lover, I also ordered the dumpling plate, and I ate so much that I was really full.
The hot pot alone is really enough.
Please keep this in mind when ordering, and it's better to add more if you need it.
Bbyeokjeong's signature menu is Pyongyang Dumpling Soup (₩11,000).
Five simply made dumplings are neatly served in a clear broth made by boiling Korean beef 1++, domestic ginseng, jujube, and radish for more than an hour, making it a popular menu.
My husband and I ordered the hot pot after much deliberation!
A heartwarming meal is completed with homemade white kimchi served as a side dish.
There is broth and kimchi side dishes at the self-service corner, so you can easily bring them if you need more.

The visuals are really beautiful!!
The mung bean pancake, which is excellent with its simple flavor, had the flavor of moist mung beans alive in its crispy texture, and the savory aroma of lard filled my mouth. It was really delicious!!
These are the side dishes that come as standard.
The kimchi was so rich that I brought more from the self-service bar.
The side dishes also had a neat and clean taste!!
The Pyongyang Plate Dumplings had a simple flavor that was delicious enough without any seasoning.
The taste that my grandmother used to make when I was young!!!
It was a day when I missed my grandmother's food a lot.
You can choose between a clear broth and a spicy broth for the dumpling hot pot, and I ordered the spicy flavor!!
A dumpling hot pot made with non-irritating spicy soup and plenty of fresh vegetables is healing itself~~~
I ate the vegetables and dumplings deliciously !!!
The more you boil the hot pot, the deeper the taste gets!!
After all, the finale of the hot pot is kalguksu noodles~~!!
I ate kalguksu noodles and kimchi really thoroughly.

It was lunchtime when I finished my meal, so there was a sudden rush of customers~~!!
I wondered if summer would ever end, but the wind seems to have gotten colder~
After our meal, my husband and I enjoyed a walk across the Paju Majang Lake Suspension Bridge to digest, which was a great day trip course from Seoul.
