A Spicy Trip to Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki in Daegu!

There's this one dish I always crave: Tteokbokki! It's one of my ultimate comfort foods, so I need to have it every now and then. Hehe!
I usually order Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki for delivery, but I really wanted to try eating at the restaurant. So, I visited the Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki branch in Dongseongro!

Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki is located after walking through some alleys! The building has 'Dongbaek' on the first floor, and Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki is on the second floor! Hehe!
This is the interior of the Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki Dongseongro branch! I went a little after 5 PM, and it was already this crowded? Hehehe! Most of the customers were women in their early 20s. We found a table too! Hehe!
At Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki Dongseongro, water and danmuji (yellow pickled radish) are self-service! There's also a guide to the spice levels on the wall. My boyfriend and I are both spice wimps, so we decided to go with the 'Kind' flavor. LOL!
Danmuji is available at the self-service bar, and there's ice next to it that you can take as much as you need! Hehe!
This is the Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki menu! We had a very big lunch, so we weren't that hungry. We decided to order the 2-person Yeopgi Tteokbokki! And my coworker recommended the Crispy Cheese Dumplings! She's been telling me that it's a must-add to Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki, so we ordered that too! Hehe!
You can order at Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki using the kiosk! Hehe! I ordered a cider, and my boyfriend said that tteokbokki needs to be paired with Coolpis. LOL! We each ordered our own drinks! Hehe!

First, the 'Kind' flavor of tteokbokki is recommended for those who can't handle spice! The 'Kind' flavor really isn't spicy, so anyone can eat it! Less spicy than Shin Ramyun? Hehe! It has the classic Yeopgi Tteokbokki flavor! The rice cakes and fish cakes are in good proportion, and it even has cabbage and green onions! While eating, I regretted not adding glass noodles. I'll definitely add them next time!
The steamed egg, which is provided free of charge when eating at the restaurant, is fluffy and soft! Even though it's free, the portion wasn't small, and it tasted great with the tteokbokki! Hehe!
And the Crispy Cheese Dumplings that were recommended by the staff! This is the definition of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Hehe! The outside is really crispy like a cracker, and the inside has cheese, so it's amazing when you dip it in the tteokbokki sauce! The perfect combination with tteokbokki! Hehe!
Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki sells not only set menus but also meal kits, so let's enjoy it in more ways! As someone who loves tteokbokki, I think I'll visit Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki at least once every quarter. Hehehe! Tteokbokki is really the best... Goodbye! ◡̈
