I suddenly found myself craving the Downtowner burger I once enjoyed in Itaewon, so I headed to the Gwanggyo Central Station branch.
With its convenient location right by the station and a New Year collaboration promotion with SunkistⓇ, the timing felt perfect.
This post shares my full dining experience, from ordering and seating to the flavors of the Hot and Sour Chicken Avocado Burger.

Downtowner Gwanggyo Central Station is located right in front of Exit 3, making it incredibly easy to access.
The blue and white exterior stands out immediately, so it’s hard to miss even on your first visit.
Burgers are one of those foods I crave every now and then, and this location makes satisfying that craving effortless.

Ordering and Seating Experience
As soon as you enter, there’s a kiosk that allows for quick and easy ordering.
The full menu is displayed behind the kiosk, making it simple to compare options at a glance.
There are bar seats for solo diners, shared tables in the center, and comfortable indoor seating.
I personally prefer indoor seating, so I settled there and watched delivery orders continue even after lunchtime.
What I Ordered This Time
Since I had already tried the classic Downtowner and avocado burgers in Itaewon, I wanted something new.
I ordered the Hot and Sour Chicken Avocado Burger with the SunkistⓇ Asa Bi Zero set.
I upgraded the side to a cup salad for an extra 600 KRW and added the new onion rings as an additional side.
Before the food arrived, I picked up pickled onions, napkins, wet wipes, and a fork from the self-service bar.
Starting Light with Salad and Onion Rings
They say it’s best to start a meal with greens, so I began with the salad.
It was fresh, well-seasoned, and honestly good enough to eat every day.
Next came the onion rings, which were perfectly golden and crispy.
Their distinct flavor made them surprisingly addictive.
The Main Event: Hot and Sour Chicken Avocado Burger
The burger featured a thick handmade chicken patty topped with avocado, romaine, tomato, hot and sour chicken sauce, and ranch sauce.
With the first bite, the spiciness stood out, followed by the smooth creaminess of the avocado.
The balance of textures and flavors made each bite satisfying and bold.
Refreshing Pairing with SunkistⓇ Asa Bi Zero
I’m not a big fan of carbonated drinks, so choosing SunkistⓇ Asa Bi Zero was a great decision.
It wasn’t overly sweet and had a refreshing tartness that paired perfectly with the rich burger.
They even gave me an extra drink, which made the experience feel even better.
Thanks to this pairing, I was able to finish the entire hearty meal comfortably.
