A Satisfying and Healthy Vegan Delight: Baidubu in Haebangchon

Hello!
Today, I'm posting a review of my visit to 'Baidubu,' a vegan restaurant in Haebangchon that's not only filling and healthy but also easy on the stomach after eating.
Baidubu is a vegan restaurant located in Haebangchon.
The closest subway station is Noksapyeong Station, but it's quite a walk from there. I recommend taking the bus.
The operating hours are: Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; Monday and Thursday from 9 AM to 7:30 PM (break time from 3 PM to 5 PM); Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM with no break time.
Exterior
Located at the top of Haebangchon,
the cute sign on the white brick wall stood out.
Exterior
The clean and exotic exterior was lovely.
Terrace
There's a terrace seating area in front, perfect for enjoying a meal on a nice day. It would be great to enjoy the terrace in spring and fall.
Interior
I visited around 9:30 AM on a Sunday, and it was already quite crowded from early in the morning.
It seemed like a group of people had come after finishing a run.

It was almost full, but there were one or two seats left, so I quickly sat down.
Menu
The menu was placed at each table, making it easy to browse and order.
Menu
This is Baidubu's menu.
For salads, there's Broccoli Tofu Gangjeong Bowl and Taco Salad.
For sandwiches, there's Egg-less Egg Sandwich and Badu Banh Mi.
For wraps, there's Baidubu Wrap, V.C.L.T Wrap, and Less Me Wrap.

You can also order Egg-less Egg Salad and Badu Hummus as sides.
On weekend mornings, they also have Bread Pudding as a special menu item.
For drinks, they have coffee options like Americano, Cafe Latte, and Vanilla Latte,
as well as 100% squeezed juice, herbal tea, house wine, carbonated drinks,
Blueberry Banana Smoothie, and Energy Boost Smoothie.
For dessert, they have Rice Levan Cookies.

Please note that the store has a 1-item-per-person rule, and during peak hours (11:30 AM - 2 PM), a meal item is required. The store usage is limited to 2 hours, and leftover food cannot be taken out.
Water and cutlery can be found next to the counter for self-service.

and articles about Baidubu's menu, which were fun to read.

It was an explanation of the Broccoli Tofu Gangjeong Bowl and the Egg-less Egg Sandwich, which made me curious about these two dishes.
So, I ordered the Broccoli Tofu Gangjeong Bowl, which was also a signature menu item.
Menu
The food came out quickly after ordering.

It came out faster than I expected, so I was happy to be able to eat right away.
Broccoli Tofu Gangjeong Bowl
The Broccoli Tofu Gangjeong Bowl had tofu on one side and broccoli on the other, along with quinoa salad, topped with soy mayo sauce.
The visuals were so pretty.

It was served in a round bowl made of coconut shell, making it even more unique and beautiful.
It was such a cute and pretty dish.
How to eat
They gave me a laminated sheet with instructions on how to eat the Broccoli Tofu Gangjeong Bowl.
The front was written in Korean, and the back was written in English.
(I heard that this place is very popular among foreigners, and I could feel the popularity!)

According to the instructions, you should first taste the tofu dipped in soy mayo, which is baked in the oven instead of fried. Then, you should pour the lime vinaigrette dressing, made with freshly squeezed lime, over the vegetables.
Tofu
As instructed, I first tasted the tofu dipped in soy mayo. The warm tofu had a sweet chili sauce flavor, and it was delicious even on its own. But when I tasted it with soy mayo, the sweetness and umami were enhanced, making it even more delicious.
Baidubu
Also, eating it with the quinoa salad, which had a barley-like texture, added a popping flavor, making it even more diverse.

The combination of warm tofu + soy mayo + quinoa salad was so good.
Lime Vinaigrette
I poured the lime vinaigrette dressing on the broccoli side and tasted it.
The lime sauce added a refreshing taste to the already delicious broccoli, enhancing the flavor even more.

There was plenty of salad under the broccoli, and the combination of the bottom salad and lime was delicious, so I enjoyed it very much.
Baidubu
The coconut bowl was deep, and it was filled with quinoa salad and vegetables all the way to the bottom, so I could eat a filling and satisfying meal.

I ate a hearty meal, but it was mainly healthy vegetables and tofu, so my stomach felt comfortable after eating, and I felt full for a long time.

It would be great to eat when dieting.
