A Pre-Vacation Dip Turns Disappointing

Vacation is finally starting...????

With a 2-night, 3-day island trip coming up, I went for a practice run (?) water outing today, haha.

I hurriedly searched for places early Friday morning and made calls around 10 AM on Saturday.

Luckily, there was one canceled raised floor seating area (pyeongsang) available, so I booked it right away!

First, here's a sneak peek of the view ^^

Amazing, right??

The parking lot was large, but it was also very crowded.

The owner seemed a bit overwhelmed, too...?

Somehow, we parked and carried all our stuff toward the pyeongsang.

Looking towards this hill, there was a wide row of pyeongsangs on the right.

They also have bungalows here, which seems good for bringing kids.

Going towards the pyeongsangs, they're packed so closely together that it's barely enough space for one person to pass.

We arrived at 12:30 PM, and even though they said one team had canceled, there were quite a few empty pyeongsangs (?). It did fill up a bit later, but it seems like the claim that all the pyeongsang reservations were full was a lie.

And the pyeongsangs are very small compared to other places, lol. You definitely need to rent a large one for four people... It's packed with just three people sitting and our luggage.

I put down my luggage roughly and looked down.

Wow, seeing the water here, I couldn't help but say it was so good.

The water is about waist-deep for adults. It's the best????

When I first went in, the water seemed so clear, and they said there were deeper spots further up, so I was full of expectations.

But once I got inside... surprise!

The bottom was covered in moss, so much so that you could get seriously hurt walking around, and there were so many long, snake-like fish eating the moss that it was creepy,,,,,,,,,

I stayed for only about 20 minutes before quickly getting out and eating.

Food comes first, so we ate a lot of meat.

And then a lot of fried rice.

Then I got so hot that I went back to the valley~~~

It looks so peaceful and nice.

But the reality is full of moss...

I threw my snorkeling gear aside and just played with a tube.ㅠ

I thought the water was super clear when I just went in, but it's definitely not...

It was a waste to even look with snorkeling gear.ㅠㅠㅠ

Maybe ignorance is bliss...

It was unsettling to even play...

But the good thing is that on the right side, there's a very, very shallow flowing stream.

It seemed really good for bringing babies.

There were also people who brought their dogs!

It was nice that it was spacious, but I was very disappointed with the mossy valley.ㅠ

The flowing water seemed to have less moss, so I just dipped my feet in that area and came back. ㅜ

This time was a failure.. Waaah

Can someone recommend a clear valley near Daegu, please?ㅠㅠ
