A Perfect Harmony of Rich Broth and Chewy Noodles at Miryang Doljjambbong

Miryang Doljjambbong has been gaining popularity as a must-visit restaurant, and after my visit, I can see why.
To be honest, I went in with high expectations, and the taste didn't disappoint one bit. I was pleasantly surprised!
This jjambbong restaurant is so good, you won't even think about feeling full! I especially recommend the Doljjambbong (stone pot jjambbong), Doljjajang (stone pot jjajangmyeon), and homemade Dontaeng (pork soup).
Each dish is prepared with care, and the flavors are perfectly balanced, making you want to keep eating. Isn't that the mark of a great restaurant?
It was clear why this place had earned its reputation.
The first things that come to mind are the 'clean interior' and 'spacious seating'.
It's a place where you can comfortably dine alone or enjoy a spicy meal with your family.
The wait time was understandable, considering how many people visit.
I exploded with anticipation and placed my order:
Doljjambbong, Doljjajang, and homemade Dontaeng! All three dishes made a strong impression.
The side dishes were simple and neatly presented.
I didn't have any particular expectations, but they were so delicious that I couldn't help but smile while eating.
1. The Truly Spicy Doljjambbong - The Name Says It All
The most popular dish here is the Doljjambbong! One spoonful and the spiciness hits you!
The broth is rich yet clean, making it enjoyable for everyone.
The seafood was fresh, and the fiery aroma of chili oil filled my mouth, making me exclaim, "Wow, this is the real deal!"
The noodles were delightfully chewy, and the depth of flavor in the broth was indescribable.
If you love spicy food, you won't be disappointed.
It uniquely provides both familiarity and novelty, which is the key point of their Doljjambbong.
2. I Fell for the Creamy Flavor of Doljjajang
This isn't your average jjajangmyeon.
The Doljjajang is richer, with a thick, savory sauce that clings perfectly to the noodles.
The noodles are thick and chewy, and the deep flavor of the jjajang sauce makes you want to keep eating.
It's a taste that you never get tired of. The outside is slightly crispy, while the inside is soft, creating a perfect balance.
Every time I eat this, I can't help but think, 'Why didn't I discover this place sooner?'
The Doljjajang truly lives up to its name.
3. Homemade Dontaeng, a Temptation of Softness and Nutty Flavor
Lastly, the homemade Dontaeng! This is truly captivating.
It's soft and savory, giving it a surprisingly rich flavor.
The generous portion size means you can keep eating even when you're full.
When eaten with the chewy noodles, the rich flavor lingers on your palate.
Honestly, I was half expecting it to be mediocre, but I fell in love with it after the first bite.
It's nutty and clean, leaving a slightly mild aftertaste, which is precisely the charm of this homemade Dontaeng! It's definitely one of the dishes I most look forward to eating here.
The side dishes weren't particularly remarkable.
However, I was satisfied with the neat presentation.
Overall, this restaurant offers great taste and value for money, so I'll definitely be back.
Most importantly, the quality of the food is consistently high, making it a reliable place to eat.
I highly recommend Miryang Doljjambbong!
