Its location near Hyeopjae Beach and Geumneung Beach makes it a perfect stop on your travel itinerary. As a well-known restaurant in Hyeopjae famous for its fresh seafood bibimbap, my expectations were high.
From the moment I stepped inside, I loved the clean and cozy atmosphere. Sitting by the window was even more special, offering a beautiful view of the Hyeopjae sea.
The signature dish, seafood bibimbap, includes seafood marinated in a special sauce made with octopus, abalone, and mantis shrimp. The fresh seafood, rice, vegetables, and special sauce blended together to create a savory and rich flavor. The mantis shrimp in particular was incredibly flavorful, and the octopus was chewy yet tender, making it fun to eat.
True to its reputation as a top-rated restaurant in Jeju Hallim, they were generous with the ingredients, making the meal very satisfying.
The side dishes were also neatly presented and complemented the bibimbap perfectly. It's easy to see why locals frequent this restaurant; the ingredients were undeniably fresh, and the cooking was honest and straightforward.
Taking a walk on Hyeopjae Beach right after my meal enhanced my travel experience even more.
