Hello, it's Mukbo Nyan (Foodie Cat) ❤

When you think of Busan's best restaurants, you can't leave out Chopilsal Pig Grill, especially their pork rind!

This time, I visited the Nampo branch of Chopilsal Pig Grill. Hehe.

I'd been to the Gwangalli branch before, and I heard they opened a new one in Nampo-dong, which was near my accommodation, so I went right away! ><

The Gwangalli branch is so popular that waiting is almost impossible unless you go right when it opens. The Nampo branch was a little better!

I did have to wait about 3 hours this time, though...

You can use the Catch Table app for remote queuing, so I could check the waiting time from my accommodation and then head over!

There were temporary chairs and a large fan in the waiting area, which made the wait a little easier! Hehe.

I received a notification that it was my turn to enter, and the table was already set up like this! Hehe.

Menu:

Pilsal Pork Rind 150g (9.5), Salted Pork Belly 120g (12.0)

After watching a YouTube video with Hong Seok-cheon and Lee Won-il, I wanted to try the pork belly and the 'back meat' (offcuts) this time!

Last time I came, I had already eaten and was alone, so I only had the pork rind! Hehe.

However, you can only order pork belly from 2 servings, and the first order must be at least 3 servings. Therefore,

Salted Pork Belly 240g, 2 servings (24.0)

Pilsal Pork Rind 150g, 1 serving (9.5)

I ordered like this, and decided to order the 'back meat' later if I was still hungry.

But I was already quite full, so I didn't order it. Hehe.

The side dishes were all delicious!

Aged kimchi, perilla leaves, and pickled radish,

Lettuce stem pickle, pickled garlic shoots, and pickled perilla leaves

Even the green onion salad!!!

Amazing View

There were also various dipping sauces, perfect for enjoying with the meat!

Even the water wasn't just plain water, but Hovenia dulcis tea!

Everyone knows that a restaurant that serves Hovenia dulcis tea is a great place, right?

Two servings of the pork belly I ordered arrived!

They serve it neatly. Hehe.

It also comes with king oyster mushrooms. Hehe.

You cook the pork belly yourself, and the staff will grill the pork rind for you!

It might seem like a small amount with only 6 pieces for 2 servings,

but they are quite thick~

Amazing View

Can you see the shimmering color...?

Grill it until it's golden brown and delicious! Hehe.

Once it's cooked to a certain extent, cut it into bite-sized pieces.

They said to move the fermented anchovy sauce to the side once it boils. Hehe.

This was my first time trying pork belly at Chopilsal Pig Grill in Busan's Nampo-dong,

and wow... was pork belly always this delicious?

It's also because I grilled the meat well,

but the meat was juicy, and the skin was

chewy and tasted like honey!

And as I said before, the side dishes

were a perfect combination to eat with the meat! Hehe.

When you're eating, the staff will grill the pork rind for you!

It's safer to stay away from the grill

because the oil can splatter. Hehe.

They grill it diligently with fancy (?) hand movements! Hehe.

Great Shot

Doesn't it look delicious just by looking at it?

It has a slight herbal medicine taste? A pig's feet taste?

It tastes like honey when you dip it in soybean flour!????

Besides soybean flour, the dipping sauce also suited my taste.

In particular, I was told that the pork rind was originally developed in 2014 as the honeycomb pork rind

and is the originator that made it a trend across the country!!

No wonder~ I haven't tasted anything like this in Seoul...

Please open a branch in Seoul. Please ㅠㅠ

If you participate in the Naver receipt review event,

you get a cheese steamed egg as a service!

There's no reason not to, right~??

Can you see the cheese stretching...?

Great Shot

It was really delicious with cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.

After eating this, I didn't even think about the 'back meat' anymore. LOL.

The Nampo branch felt cleaner because it just opened!

The staff was also very kind!

When I went to the Gwangalli branch before, I went alone.

I thought the staff were really kind then too,

and the Nampo branch is also super kind.????

The service is so good in addition to the taste,

I think that's why so many people are looking for it~

Of course, the prices are also very reasonable!!

Even if the waiting time is long, you can easily queue with Catch Table,

so the waiting stress is a little less,

and I was able to enjoy my meal! ><

If you are planning a trip to Busan,

I highly recommend Chopilsal Pig Grill in Nampo-dong!

I plan to visit again when I come to Busan next time.????
