During my recent trip to Jeju, I paid special attention to my meal choices. I heard about a local restaurant near Seopjikoji that serves unique Jeju dishes, so I decided to visit without hesitation.

Upon entering, I was welcomed by a spacious and clean hall. The generous spacing between tables allowed for a comfortable dining experience, and the hygiene management was impressive.

As I sat down, I quickly chose my main dish, the mackerel ssam-bap, along with braised hairtail and various grilled items. The value for money was excellent.
The side dishes arrived promptly, filling the table. The soy sauce marinated crab was particularly delightful, with juicy and plump meat.

The sea urchin seaweed soup was a refreshing addition, enriched by the distinct flavor of sea urchin roe. The seaweed was moist and delicious, making it disappear quickly.
Then, the visually stunning abalone stew arrived, filled with various fresh seafood. The abalone was thick and chewy, delivering an enjoyable texture.
5. A Relaxing Meal of Mackerel Ssam-bap
I was able to indulge in a variety of dishes, from succulent crabs to sweet shrimp. At Seongsan Mackerel Ssam-bap, I enjoyed not only the main dish but also an array of sides like braised hairtail and grilled fish. This generous spread truly represents a local dining experience in eastern Jeju.
Overall, I can confidently say that this is a place anyone would enjoy visiting.
