A Great Game Bar in Hongdae to Enjoy Until Dawn

While searching for a game bar in Hongdae, I discovered a place through a friend's recommendation.
After having dinner near Hongdae's Sang Sang Madang, we were looking for a bar where we could enjoy ourselves until dawn.
With so many bars in Hongdae, choosing the right one can be quite challenging.
Sometimes the prices are higher than expected, or the snacks are disappointing, so I wanted to find a place where we could really have fun this time.
So, my friends and I started searching for a good bar to hang out until dawn, observing the atmosphere of people passing by.
We heard about a pocha (Korean-style pub) in the club district of Hongdae that had many events and decent value for money, so we decided to visit Signal Traffic Pocha.
It was conveniently located just a 2-3 minute walk from Hongdae Sang Sang Madang, and it was also easily accessible from Hapjeong or Sangsu.
Upon entering Signal Traffic Pocha, I was surprised to find that the space was much larger than I expected.
The tables were well-spaced, making it easy to find seating even for larger groups.
The vibrant atmosphere unique to Hongdae was palpable, and it felt like the perfect spot to enjoy drinks with friends right from the start.
Located in the heart of Hongdae's club district, the accessibility was excellent.
It is situated on the 2nd floor at 3 Jandari-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and is easy to spot while wandering around Hongdae.
At approximately 200 meters from Hongdae Sang Sang Madang, it’s a great spot to transition to a second or third round after hanging out in Hongdae.
Even from Exit 3 of Hapjeong Station, it’s about a 700-meter walk, making it convenient to come from Hapjeong.
It takes about 5 minutes to reach from Sangsu Station, so using the subway is also convenient.
The location was perfect for meeting friends and having a drink in Hongdae.
Even late at night, the crowd was lively, allowing us to truly feel the Hongdae vibe.
As soon as we sat down, a roulette event began, creating a fun atmosphere right from the start.
This event was for all tables, making it quite entertaining.
Spinning the roulette with friends added to the excitement, and laughter filled the air as we kicked off our drinking session.
In the center of the venue, there was also a traffic light event.
When the red light came on, there were discounts on snacks, and when the green light was on, an alcohol auction took place, adding to the fun.
The sudden lighting changes and the reactions of people blended perfectly with the Hongdae atmosphere.
Thanks to these events, it felt more like an enjoyable bar where we could have fun with friends rather than just a place to drink.
We also appreciated the receipt review event, which allowed us to enjoy soju at a lower price.
We ordered the tofu and pork belly kimchi, which was quite generous.
The dish featured a whole block of tofu served with spicy pork and kimchi, making for an impressive visual.
The pork was spicy yet savory, and pairing it with tofu created a well-balanced taste.
It was a hearty dish, perfect for sharing among friends.
The seasoning of the pork wasn’t too overpowering, making it ideal to enjoy with drinks.
My friends kept going back for more, and we were pleasantly surprised by how satisfying the dish was.
We also ordered Nagasaki Jjamppong Tang, a refreshing soup dish.
When drinking, having a soup dish is a must, and this was perfect.
It’s a popular choice for soju, and the broth was refreshing and clean, providing a comforting feeling.
It had a decent amount of seafood, and the rich flavor of the broth made it enjoyable while drinking.
Having a warm soup dish improved the atmosphere of our gathering and made us feel more at ease.
Such broth dishes are especially great for second rounds.
We ordered yogurt soju, which was sweet and easy to drink, even for friends who aren’t used to alcohol.
It seems to be quite popular lately, as many tables around us were ordering it too.
Signal Traffic Pocha is not just a drinking place but also offers a variety of fun activities.
There’s a claw machine, and my friends and I had some fun trying it out, which turned out to be more entertaining than expected.
They also have a receipt photo booth, which was great for taking pictures with friends and creating memories.
Additionally, there’s a self-service ramen corner where you can make Han River ramen for just 2,000 won, adding a bit of fun.
You can add eggs or cheese to the ramen, making it a simple yet satisfying snack while drinking.
Overall, the quality of the snacks was decent, and the prices were reasonable, making it a great place to casually drink with friends.
The menu was diverse, making it easy to cater to different tastes when visiting with a group.
Especially being open until 6 AM, it’s perfect for late-night fun, making it a great choice for a second or third round.
If you’re looking for a bar in Hongdae that stays open late, this is a solid option.
The spacious venue and lively atmosphere made it comfortable to enjoy time with friends.
When hanging out in Hongdae, it’s a great spot for a casual visit, and I’d love to come back again.
