A Glimpse of July: Food, Fun, and a Bit of Fan-Girling!

Mid-August, and I'm already reminiscing about the end of July!
There was a 14-team wait, but one look at this chicken and I knew I had to stay.
How could I resist that glistening, juicy bird?!

It was hot, so time for coffee!
Luckily, there was a cafe right next door, perfect for waiting.
The cup was pretty and the coffee delicious – a simple pleasure.
I wanted to ask the owner if they sell the cups...and if they serve beer in them! I'd love a beer in that cup.^^

After maybe 20 minutes, Namyeongtak called us to come over.
I ran there in 30 seconds flat!
So many things next to our table, but I only recognized a celebrity chef's autobiography and a GD light stick! lol
The owner must be famous! But all I could think about was eating.

I wanted something refreshing, so I ordered a side dish.
Spicy with a kick of mala – so good!
Look at that foam! Could I drink it in one shot? Yup, I could!
I wasn’t in the mood for mala or something too Western, so I went with the Peking Chicken.
It was like eating Mexican food – just my style!
Grabbed a leg and just tore into it!

Rode my bike to digest it all, but I think I overdid it…
Ended up in Haebangchon instead of Namsan! Whoops!

Found a cool place that serves drinks, not just alcohol!
Needed to cool down at Cafe Pargo before heading home…
Are you Mateo?!
Hui-ssi is so cute... After spending quite some time there, I finally went home (1 hour and 40 minutes!).

My boss bought our team coffee to celebrate our Excel success! lol
Let's become masters of shortcuts!
The model for our company greeted us in person!
So happy to get his autograph...he's so handsome...Byun Yo-han <3
Ran all the way down to the first floor to shout hello. Ha!

Ended July with a trip to the water park!
I go every year, but this time the water was warm from the heat…
Someone offered to untangle my swimsuit straps (lol)... Nope!
Finished my morning session and showered quickly since there weren't proper facilities.
Then, it was time for my mandatory Jeongin Noodles visit! I love Pyong naeng!
Had to order the boiled pork, too.

I wanted to go to a cute cafe, so I searched and found this one.
I found a good place!
The matcha latte was standard, but the nutty flat white was amazing.
My friend who works in the area said the tiramisu is a must-try, next time!

After going to the Han River swimming pool...
I didn't put on enough sunscreen or the UV rays were just too strong.
I turned into a brown person...?!

Bokyeong sent me a meme to use when I go to work. lol
Park Myung-soo memes always feel like me lol
Bokyeong also bought me coffee to cheer me up... she's an angel.
The drip coffee at McDonald's has such a savory flavor!
Suddenly had chimaek (chicken and beer) after work!
Bokyeong suggested a spontaneous meeting?!
After three failed attempts, we finally made it happen!

Found a new hangout spot for Bokyeong and me...?
I'll probably be talking about it a lot in the future!
Bokyeong always gets the signature drinks, and I always pick the unusual ones.
Both were good, but I recommend Bokyeong's turmeric latte and Valrhona chocolate!

I was so excited to meet Seoyeon on the weekend!
Booked barboo in Itaewon in advance.
When making the reservation, the street view is where I sat, and the building view is behind it.
The famous spot is the street view, so I made sure to get that reservation. lol
Baby potatoes and romaine salad.
A delicious and unique pasta with peas.
Bottle service is required for reservations, so I got a recommendation.
Flowers, too... This is Itaewon barboo!
I couldn't stay still while Seoyeon took pictures!

The important part of my date with Seoyeon was that
we should drink a glass of lemon juice and olive oil every morning! lol
I'm starting right away!
Two 31-year-old women talking about health... lol

I ate and played a lot at the end of July!
I'm having a fulfilling August, too!
Taking care of my health and studying.
And in August, I'm going to introduce my beginner swimmer life!

The end of July.
