A Delightful Pork Rice Soup Experience at Yuksujae Near Pusan National University

Hello! This is Malkeum's Daily Life. Yesterday, my husband and I took a stroll around Pusan National University (PNU) and had dinner. I usually love Dwaeji Gukbap (Pork Rice Soup), and I found a delicious Dwaeji Gukbap restaurant near the PNU main gate called Yuksujae, with a sophisticated atmosphere. As dinnertime approached, the restaurant was filled with customers, proving it was a popular spot in the PNU area. The staff were also very friendly, which made the experience even better. My husband raved about the great taste and reasonable prices. Yuksujae is also a great spot for PNU dates with its affordable prices and atmosphere!

While walking around PNU with my husband, we got hungry even though it was early for dinner.

I spotted Yuksujae, a stylish Pork Rice Soup place, to the left of PNU's main gate and decided to go in.

There was a menu displayed outside, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices.

Even though it was an early dinner hour, Yuksujae was already quite busy.

I wanted to have dinner in a place with a nice ambiance, and I loved everything from the interior design to the overall atmosphere.

The interior was clean and comfortable, perfect for enjoying a meal with family, friends, or a significant other. I was glad we chose to visit.

Yuksujae has a self-service bar.

When I went to see what was available, I found a variety of options, easily accessible from any seat. Plus, you can enjoy noodles with your pork rice soup as much as you want!

Yuksujae prepares its Gukbap with broth simmered for 38 hours using the finest Korean pork, resulting in a clean and flavorful soup. They also provide instructions on how to enjoy the flavors in stages.

My husband and I came in planning to have Pork Rice Soup, and the prices were very reasonable.

After we were seated, the staff provided detailed information and set up our table. They also explained the self-service bar with a bright and friendly attitude, which made me feel great.

I love Minari (water dropwort), so I was curious about the Minari Gukbap (Pork Rice Soup with Minari). I ordered one Minari Gukbap, Suyuk Baekban (Pork Slices with Rice), and a plate of Sundae (Korean sausage).

I got some side dishes from the self-service bar. They were so delicious that I knew I could easily finish a bowl of rice with them.

I like to add a lot of noodles to my pork rice soup, and the self-service bar had a clean and delicious selection, so I grabbed some easily.

Yuksujae's Suyuk Baekban is served with a generous spread, and the main Suyuk looked so moist and delicious that I immediately reached for my chopsticks! Hehe!

Each table has its own independent space, making Yuksujae a great place for dates and conversations. Since I love Minari and prefer to grill it when eating meat, I was excited about the Minari Gukbap, which had plenty of Minari in a clear broth.

The Minari Gukbap also had noodles similar to rice noodles, and as soon as I took a spoonful, it was so delicious that I immediately thought of my children. I decided I definitely have to bring them next time.

My husband added chili paste to the hot broth that came with the Suyuk Baekban and said it was delicious even without it, but even better with it!

The Sundae was affordable and came in a generous portion, so we enjoyed it in various ways.

Now my husband is officially adding rice to his Pork Rice Soup! Hehe!

The Suyuk Baekban comes with plenty of moist and tender Suyuk, and it was so delicious with the accompanying dishes that it felt like pure happiness.

The Minari Gukbap also had plenty of meat.

I kept reaching for my spoon because the Pork Rice Soup was so clean and delicious!

Kimchi is important in Pork Rice Soup, and Yuksujae's kimchi was delicious, along with all the side dishes.

My husband and I had a great time without the kids at Yuksujae. I was curious about the clear Pork Rice Soup and unfamiliar with Minari Gukbap, but it was so delicious that I could eat it every day. Especially when visiting PNU, I always wondered where to eat, but Yuksujae has great prices and excellent taste.
