A while ago, a friend who is getting married soon invited us to a pre-wedding get-together. I searched for a good restaurant near Sadang Station and decided to visit Lieto Sadang, which is known for its pasta.

I was curious about Lieto because it frequently appeared in searches for restaurants near Sadang Station. As it turned out, my friend chose the same place! After visiting, I understood why it's so popular.

The prices are reasonable, and the menu is diverse. My friends and I enjoyed delicious food, chatted, and even had coffee. Overall, it was a very satisfying dining experience.

Location and Business Information

Lieto is easy to find, just a 3-4 minute walk from Exit 5 of Sadang Station.

Although it's located in an alley, the exterior is clean and noticeable. The long operating hours make it convenient to visit for both lunch and dinner.

Most importantly, there's a separate group room, which seemed perfect for our pre-wedding gathering or other group events.

When we visited, there were indeed many groups dining there.

Interior Design

Upon entering, I immediately felt the cozy cafe atmosphere.

Rather than a typical spaghetti place, it felt more like a brunch cafe. My friends and I commented on the pleasant ambiance as we settled into our reserved seats.

The spacing between seats was generous, so it wasn't too noisy, making it a great place for a quiet meal or conversation.

The private group room seemed ideal for gatherings like ours.

Complimentary Bread Service (3 Types)

One of Lieto's biggest draws, making it a popular restaurant near Sadang Station, is its complimentary bread service.

Even if you only order a single pasta dish, you get three types of bread for free!

From garlic bread and focaccia to soft, basic bread, the variety made it feel like a mini-course.

The garlic bread, in particular, was crispy and richly infused with garlic butter, which made me think, "This place is promising."

The focaccia was simple and delicious, making it a great accompaniment to the spaghetti.

Carbonara (₩9,900) + Mare Pasta (₩9,900)

The lunch prices were very reasonable, starting at ₩9,900.

I ordered the carbonara, which had a rich, creamy sauce that was exactly to my taste.

The rich cream flavor wasn't too salty, so I enjoyed it until the last bite.

My friend ordered the Mare pasta, which had a generous amount of seafood and a clean, refreshing flavor thanks to its oil base.

The noodles were perfectly cooked, making it an overall satisfying dish.

And importantly, double portions are free!

Being able to enjoy a large portion of pasta without worrying about the cost was fantastic.

Sweet Potato Pizza

I saw the sweet potato pizza often when searching for Lieto, and after trying it, I understood why.

The sweet potato mousse was soft and sweet, with very little greasiness.

The crust was incredibly crispy, making it irresistible.

It paired wonderfully with the pasta!

Ricotta Salad (₩12,900)

The generous ricotta salad is something any woman would love.

Many salads only have a small amount of ricotta cheese, right?

But here, the ricotta was piled high, making it feel more like eating ricotta with bread than a salad.

The ricotta was nutty with a subtle milky aroma and melted smoothly in my mouth.

The vegetables, mainly romaine and lettuce, were fresh, and the cherry tomatoes and nuts added a nice texture.

The refreshing dressing balanced the richness of the ricotta perfectly.

With the complimentary bread service, putting some ricotta on the bread created a perfect combination.

It's also a great way to whet your appetite before the main course!

The freshness of the vegetables was great, and the refreshing dressing paired well with the ricotta, making it a perfect appetizer before the spaghetti.

Cheese Pot Pasta (₩10,900)

I heard that Lieto is popular near Sadang Station because of its unique dishes, so I ordered something a little more special.

Instead of a thick, set cream sauce, the cheese sauce was smooth and flowing. The visual of the cheese cascading off my spoon was amazing.

The noodles were completely submerged in the cheese sauce, and when I lifted them, the cheese stretched out in long strands. Cheese lovers will absolutely adore this dish.

What I especially liked was that it wasn't overwhelmingly greasy. The cheese flavor was rich, but the finish was clean, so I could keep eating without feeling weighed down.

The texture was soft, somewhere between creamy and moist. If you love both cream and cheese and can't decide which to choose, you'll be very satisfied with this dish.

Pepperoni Pizza

If the sweet potato pizza is sweet, the pepperoni pizza is a classic that's always a hit at gatherings.

It was loaded with cheese, and the pepperoni flavor was prominent. My friends and I devoured the whole pizza in no time.

The crust wasn't too thick, so it was easy to enjoy with the spaghetti.

I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely recommend it as a great restaurant near Sadang Station!

Plus, the soup was savory and warm, so I had to resist the urge to have a second bowl.

We also ordered coffee, cola, and other drinks. The overall portions were generous, so the drinks complemented the meal perfectly.

Adding just ₩6,000 gets you a set course including soup, salad, dessert, and a drink. I don't think you can get a better value than that.

Overall, I would highly recommend Lieto Sadang as a great restaurant near Sadang Station.

Lunch pasta is ₩9,900, double portions are free, there's a complimentary 3-bread service, a diverse menu, and a private group room – it has everything!

We received the wedding invitation, had a great conversation with the couple, and enjoyed a satisfying and delicious meal. The value for the price was excellent, so I'll definitely visit again.
