1. HaeSot Jeju Airport Main Branch
The spread before my eyes was truly a feast. The freshness of the ingredients made this meal absolutely perfect.
The restaurant's grand exterior seemed to capture the refreshing energy of Jeju Island. The building's harmony with the blue sky made me fully appreciate the local atmosphere of the trip.
Opening the menu revealed a delightful array of Jeju Island's specialty dishes. It was fun to explore the unique options available only here.
The basic side dishes were meticulously prepared, showing great care and attention to detail.
The colorful corn salad was visually pleasing, with the yellow kernels adding a fresh touch to the table.
The refreshing seaweed salad was another must-try. The tangy vinegar awakened my taste buds and restored my appetite.
The seasoned squid tempted me with its chewy texture. I felt like I could finish an entire bowl of rice with just this one side dish.
Abalone porridge, carefully prepared in a small pot, was served as a special treat. The rich color and smooth texture made it feel like a nourishing tonic.
I carefully ladled the hot porridge into my personal bowl, feeling the warmth even in this small act.
The smooth texture was fantastic, and the rich flavor of abalone was a delightful gift.
Another delicacy, the abalone pot rice, boasted a generous portion.
The savory aroma wafting from the freshly cooked rice was irresistible.
2. Abalone Pot Rice
The golden-brown abalone pieces were piled high on top of the rice. I was moved by the sight of Jeju's special products presented so abundantly.
I took a large spoonful of the pot rice with kimchi. The savory flavor filled my mouth, spreading a pleasant sensation.
3. Abalone Butter Grill
The abalone butter grill boasted a golden sheen. The luxurious presentation elevated the dining atmosphere.
Even the moment of carefully picking up the abalone with chopsticks was precious. The perfect cooking was a highlight of this trip.
4. Grilled Mackerel
The whole grilled mackerel was served on the table. The silvery skin, perfectly browned, was visually appealing.
The bones easily separated from the tender flesh, making it easy to prepare.
The combination of the flaky fish and savory pot rice was simply divine.
5. Abalone Stew
The piping hot abalone stew was prepared as the final course. The ingredients visible in the broth promised a hearty meal.
The abundance and freshness experienced here were truly exceptional.
After the meal, I enjoyed a walk along the nearby coastal road. The expansive horizon and lush greenery were a refreshing treat for tired eyes.
I didn't forget to pour hot water into the remaining pot rice to make scorched rice soup. Being able to enjoy one dish in multiple ways was another great charm of this restaurant.
The savory scorched rice was a delightful way to end the meal, leaving a pleasant aftertaste until I left the restaurant.
I plan to revisit this restaurant, where you can enjoy both exceptional food and stunning scenery. These precious memories are what make a trip truly meaningful.
