I recently took my parents out for a meal at Baekmi Hanwoo, a Korean beef restaurant in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan. A friend recommended it, saying it was affordable yet offered high-quality meat. I decided to give it a try for our family outing.

Upon arriving, I found the restaurant to be clean and pleasant. More importantly, we were able to enjoy plenty of juicy beef without feeling like we were breaking the bank. It was a very satisfying experience.

1. Location Information for Baekmi Hanwoo, Dujeong-dong

The restaurant is located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the building, making it easily visible. There's also a dedicated parking lot nearby, which is convenient if you're driving. It's across from the Lotte Mart intersection on the main street, so it's easy to find with a quick look at the map.

Address: 1st-2nd floor, 14 Seongjeongdujeong-ro, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do

Hours: 16:00~05:00

2. Special Events at Baekmi Hanwoo, Dujeong-dong

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll notice various events. If you write a receipt review, you can get free beef bone broth and 잡뼈 (miscellaneous bones). They also offer 차돌박이 (thinly sliced beef brisket) and a 육회 (beef tartare) tasting as a service for reservations. They seem to hold these events often, which explains why they have so many regular customers.

3. The Butcher Shop on the 1st Floor

The butcher shop is located on the first floor. They sell a variety of beef cuts at very reasonable prices. My mom was thrilled and said she would definitely buy her Korean beef here from now on.

They have a wide selection of meat, and it's great to be able to check the quality of the meat before buying it. My family prefers fattier cuts, so a butcher shop restaurant like this is a better fit for us than a regular restaurant.

On the second floor, you'll find the dining area with tables. There's also a self-service corner where you can easily refill side dishes.

The restaurant is very clean and hygienic. I also liked that I could choose the amount of sauces and fresh쌈채소 (vegetable leaves for wrapping) I wanted.

4. Affordable Prices

You can buy meat on the 1st floor and eat it on the 2nd floor, or you can order set menus. We wanted to try a variety of cuts, so we chose a platter.

After ordering, the side dishes came out quickly, and they were so plentiful that my mouth started watering.

Korean Beef Ribeye: ₩8,900

Korean Beef Special Cuts Platter: ₩13,380

Korean Beef Rib Fingers: ₩12,009

Korean Premium Platter: ₩14,950

We also received 차돌박이 and 육회 as a service for making a reservation. The portions were generous and really whetted our appetites.

The 육회, especially when eaten with 배 (Korean pear), was savory and not greasy. The sweetness of the fruit added a delicious touch.

They also provide 된장찌개 (soybean paste stew), and I was surprised to find that the prepped vegetables and broth were available separately in the refrigerator for refills.

The rich and clean-tasting stew was even better with added meat. It was a 별미 (special dish) that went down smoothly with rice.

The service 차돌 (brisket) was tender and delicious when grilled and eaten with 명이나물 (Myungyi leaves). It tasted even better because it was free!

The 육회 we ordered separately was the same as the service one, but mixing in the yolk added a richer flavor and went well with alcohol.

The platter we ordered included various cuts, making it feel like we were dining at a buffet. The quality of the meat was exceptional, with each cut having amazing marbling.

The grill was large, so we could cook plenty of meat at once. Grilling over charcoal removed the excess oil and added a subtle smoky flavor, making it a truly delightful and filling experience.

They also have group seating, so I saw many customers dining out with family, friends, or for company dinners. My parents, who are picky eaters, were especially satisfied, which made me even happier.

While eating the tender beef, we added ramen with 차돌. The noodles were chewy, and the broth was spicy. I highly recommend eating the noodles and then adding rice to the remaining broth.

I didn't forget to order 냉면 (cold noodles), a classic Korean BBQ dessert. The chewy noodles with the spicy and tangy sauce were so refreshing that I couldn't stop eating them.

I was completely obsessed with the 육회 here, so I chose 비빔냉면 (spicy cold noodles) with added 육회. The chewy texture was doubled, and even though I was full, I couldn't put down my chopsticks until I finished everything.

While regular 냉면 is good, I recommend adding 육회 for an even more flavorful experience.

5. Overall Review of Baekmi Hanwoo in Dujeong-dong

I was looking for a Korean beef restaurant in Dujeong-dong for a family gathering, and a friend recommended this place. I had heard a lot about the affordable prices and convenient location, so I came with high expectations.

The facilities were clean, and the meat was of excellent quality yet affordable. It was a rare occasion where we could all enjoy a delicious meal without worrying about the bill.

You can get a lot of benefits by making a reservation or participating in the receipt event, so be sure to take advantage of them if you visit.
