A Delightful Dining Experience at Misoya
This is my honest review after visiting Misoya.
When I want to enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine in Sanbon without breaking the bank, I often turn to Misoya.
With a diverse menu and reasonable prices, it remains a popular choice for lunch or dinner.
This time, I ordered the Al-bap set, Tonkatsu, and Kimchi Nabe for a hearty meal.
I can see why so many people flock to this place as a top dining spot in Sanbon.
Upon entering, I found the interior to be clean and well-organized, with many solo diners present.
The spacing between tables was just right, making it comfortable for solo dining, and the atmosphere was relaxing for enjoying a meal.
It had the vibe of a popular restaurant in Sanbon, attracting a variety of customers from busy office workers to families.
The menu at Misoya is incredibly diverse, making it hard to choose.
After some deliberation, I settled on the Al-bap set, Tonkatsu, and Kimchi Nabe.
The dish I was most excited about was the Al-bap set.
Served in a hot stone pot, the Al-bap looked incredibly appetizing.
With plenty of flying fish roe on top, each spoonful offered a delightful burst of texture.
The combination of seaweed, vegetables, and rice was harmonious, and the hot pot created a delicious crispy layer at the bottom.
Personally, I found the crispy layer to be the most enjoyable part.
It was filling without being overwhelming, making it a dish I would love to order again on my next visit.
If the crispy layer feels too hard, adding a bit of udon broth can soften it, but I enjoyed it as is for that crunch.
The udon noodles were also perfectly chewy and delicious.
The Tonkatsu I ordered alongside was equally satisfying.
Freshly fried, it was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
The coating wasn't too thick, allowing the meat's texture to shine, and it paired well with the sweet Tonkatsu sauce.
The meal came with broth and side dishes, providing generous portions that anyone would enjoy.
The Kimchi Nabe featured a spicy yet savory broth that was impressive.
The tangy flavor of well-fermented kimchi combined with the warm broth was perfect for someone who enjoys spicy food.
It wasn't overly stimulating, allowing me to enjoy it until the last sip, especially on a chilly day.
The food arrived promptly after ordering, and the staff were friendly, making the entire dining experience pleasant.
The biggest advantage of Misoya is the ability to enjoy a variety of dishes at reasonable prices, which is why it continues to be recommended as a top restaurant in Sanbon.
Whether dining alone or with family and friends, the wide menu selection ensures high satisfaction.
It’s a great place to visit when you're craving a clean and simple Japanese meal without any extravagant flavors.
