A Delicious Korean BBQ Experience at Itaewon Wang Galbi in Yangyang

During my trip to Sokcho last week, I visited Itaewon Wang Galbi, a restaurant famous for its Wang Galbi (King Ribs).
We thought, "Even if it's famous, this is Yangyang. There probably won't be a wait." We were wrong!
As soon as we entered the parking lot, there were quite a few people gathered, and sure enough, there was a wait.
The hot weather and the fact that we had just come from Naksansa Temple made us tired, and the waiting time made it even more difficult.
The interior was also smaller than expected, so tables weren't clearing out quickly.

However, the meat was thick and well-seasoned, making it delicious! They also grill the meat for you, so it was easy to eat.
The side dishes were also very neat and clean. The marinated crab (Gejang) and other side dishes were all delicious.
It was worth the wait.

The Doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) that we ordered additionally was savory and delicious.
Rice was ordered separately, but it was really glutinous and shiny as written on the menu.
Absolutely the best rice!
On the other hand, the Naengmyeon (cold noodles) and Chadol Doenjang-jjigae (brisket soybean paste stew) were a bit disappointing compared to our expectations.
