Hi everyone!

It's already past mid-August, but why is it still so hot? ㅜㅜ

The lingering heat has sapped my energy to cook at home, and I've lost my appetite. So, I went searching for something simple and delicious near my house, and I found the perfect place!Amazing sight

It's [Metan House Cheongna Main Branch], a Cheongna 맛집 (delicious restaurant)!

[Metan House Cheongna Main Branch] is actually the second chapter of Mr. Park's Buckwheat Noodles, a famous restaurant in Bupyeong Kkang Market!

The interior has a fun, lively outdoor market vibe!

I really love this kind of atmosphere!

Places like this are perfect for group gatherings, making it ideal for anyone looking for a place for a group outing or company dinner in Cheongna!

Let's take a look at the menu!

Spectacular scene

All the noodle dishes here are made with buckwheat noodles, so you can find Buckwheat Udon, Spicy Buckwheat Noodles, and Buckwheat Jajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodles)!

Spectacular scene

And they also serve grilled meat, chicken feet, and squid cooked over charcoal briquettes!

We ordered the Buckwheat Udon, Spicy Buckwheat Noodles, and Charcoal-Grilled Bulgogi :)

I really wanted to try the chicken feet, but since we went for dinner, my friend Kim Daeng insisted on the Bulgogi. I'll have to try the chicken feet as a late-night snack next time! haha

When you order, they set the table with these side dishes!Charming photo

There's a self-serve bar, so you can grab more side dishes from there!

They have onion sauce, which I immediately loved! ???

The charcoal-grilled items are cooked right away on a grill after you order!

Since they cook it right away, it might take a little longer!

They say the Charcoal-Grilled Bulgogi is best enjoyed by picking up two or three pieces, dipping them in the onion sauce, and adding some onions on top. Of course, I had to try it when the food came out! lol

[Metan House Cheongna Main Branch] will even reheat the meat if it gets cold!

Now I know why it's a Cheongna 맛집!

The Charcoal-Grilled Bulgogi came out first!

I really love meat cooked like this on a grill! So, as soon as it came out, I was so excited to try it! hahaHappy moment

Wow, it's delicious, just as you'd expect from a Cheongna late-night food 맛집! ???

Like I mentioned above, I picked up two pieces, dipped them in the onion sauce, and added some onions. It turns out there's a reason why they recommend that! ㅠㅠ

(Honestly, I'm relying on the onion sauce...????)

Precious memory

My friend Kim Daeng, a true eating machine, was making generous perilla leaf wraps. The wraps looked so delicious too! Ugh, I'm hungry ㅠ

It's late-night snack time as I'm writing this, and my stomach is growling just looking at the pictures ㅠㅠ If you're looking for a Cheongna late-night snack, please order it instead of me! ㅠㅠ (I'm on a diet ㅠㅠ)

Valuable experience

While we were eating the Charcoal-Grilled Bulgogi, the Buckwheat Udon came out!

I was a little unfamiliar with Buckwheat Udon, so I was really curious about what it would taste like!

Buckwheat Udon noodles are thinner than regular Udon noodles, and that's what makes them so appealing!

The warm broth and the mild buckwheat noodles seemed like they wouldn't go well together, but they were so delicious!!!

Amazing sight

I think buckwheat noodles might be healthier than regular wheat flour Udon noodles, right?

I think Metan House might be the only place to get Cheongna Buckwheat Udon????

This is the Spicy Buckwheat Noodles that Kim Daeng ordered!

Interesting image

Kim Daeng ordered the extra-large portion of Spicy Buckwheat Noodles, which is available for free! (How generous is that? ㅠㅠ)

The Spicy Buckwheat Noodles came with broth, and since it was a hot day, there was even ice in the Spicy Buckwheat Noodles!

The Spicy Buckwheat Noodles are overwhelming in quantity ⭐️Touching scene

It was so much that it was hard to mix, but it's amazing that Kim Daeng can eat it all????

I stole a bite of Kim Daeng's Spicy Buckwheat Noodles, and the noodles were so chewy and glistening!

And the mild flavor was a definite pass ‼️‼️

There's a reason why they put ice in it! It feels cleaner because it's cool lol

Bright future

I'm glad I stole a bite, or I would have been in trouble if they hadn't ordered the extra-large portion lol

This was my first time eating at [Metan House Cheongna Main Branch], and it was so delicious that I wondered why I hadn't tried it before, even though it's near my house!

In fact, there were quite a few couples on dates in the restaurant the day I ate there, so I highly recommend it as a Cheongna date spot!

[Metan House Cheongna Main Branch] is a Cheongna 맛집 that I also recommend for Cheongna group gatherings and company dinners!

I heard that it's also famous as a Cheongna late-night food 맛집, so I'm going to try the charcoal-grilled chicken feet at home next time!!

Hopeful tomorrow
