A Delicious Culinary Experience at Hampyeong House, Seoul City Hall Branch

Hello everyone! Today, I'm excited to share my experience at Hampyeong House, a famous restaurant near Seoul City Hall.
Located very close to City Hall Station (Exit 9), it's easily accessible. Plus, it's surrounded by attractions like Seoul City Hall, Deoksugung Palace, Gwanghwamun, and Myeongdong, making it a great place to stop by while exploring the city. The interior is very clean and spacious, perfect for bringing your parents or enjoying a date.
Hampyeong House prides itself on its freshly made gochujang (Korean chili paste), prepared daily using traditional methods. And the Hampyeong rice, served in individual pot rice cookers, is made with only the clearest water and the newest harvest. Perhaps that's why the rice was so delicious!
The vegetables in the bibimbap (Korean mixed rice) are carefully blanched to ensure they are soft and enjoyable for everyone.
Today, I ordered the Abalone Bibimbap, made with abalone from Wando and a savory abalone liver sauce. From the very first bite, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" ✨
I also tried the Yukhoe Mulhoe (raw beef cold soup), which was equally amazing. The broth, made with over 20 types of fresh vegetables and fruits, combined with homemade vinegar, created a refreshing yet deeply flavorful experience.
Finally, I poured water into the pot rice cooker to enjoy *sungnyung* (scorched rice tea), a traditional Korean way to finish the meal. It was a truly satisfying and fulfilling dining experience.
The prices are quite reasonable, making it an excellent choice for those looking for great value.
I'll definitely remember this as a restaurant I want to visit again! If you're ever near City Hall, be sure to check out Hampyeong House. You're sure to have a delicious and enjoyable time! ✨
