A Delicious and Affordable Korean BBQ Experience

The restaurant is located near the Sangnam Market central shopping district. Searching for Madimi Plaza will lead you right to it.
The exterior is clean and appealing, and parking is conveniently available in the adjacent parking lot.
Although parking is only supported for one hour, I was grateful that parking was available.
Inside, if it weren't for the smoke vents, you might not even realize it's a Korean BBQ restaurant. The atmosphere is quite pleasant.
You can grab any additional utensils you need, and refills for side dishes are readily available, so you can eat without worrying about running out.
I was told that Ohdon ages the meat for about 10-20 days before serving it. It's also known for being a great value for group dinners in Changwon.
A bowl of rice is only 500 won, and the buchu-jeon (chive pancake) and steamed egg are included as basic side dishes. Additional orders are 1,000 won. Ramen is only 2,000 won. Overall, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great value.
Since there are private rooms available, many people reserve them for group dinners and gatherings.
We visited without a reservation, but luckily, we arrived during the early dinner rush and were seated immediately without any waiting.
We ordered samgyeopsal (pork belly) and moksal (pork shoulder) and took a look at the side dishes.
The many positive reviews about the quality of the food seem justified.
The number of side dishes was impressive. From ssam vegetables, fresh kimchi, and pickled onions to aged kimchi, cold cucumber soup, steamed egg, squid and chives pancake, japchae (glass noodles), and perilla leaves!
I wondered if all of these were really included as basic side dishes. The table was overflowing with food.
The steamed egg wasn't too salty and had a light, clean flavor, making it easy to enjoy.
Instead of just one type of kimchi, they brought out a variety, which was great. My favorite was the green onion kimchi!
The green onion kimchi was spicy and had a strong green onion flavor, which helped to cut through the richness of the meat. It was excellent.
The corn salad was a great snack to enjoy before the meat was cooked. They also provided perilla leaves, which are great to eat with meat.
The variety of side dishes is probably what makes customers regulars.
The meat was also a great value, so we kept ordering more and grilling it up. The meat was thick, chewy, and savory, making it perfect for enjoying.
I especially like the moksal, which has less fat, so I secretly ate mostly that.
One combination that surprised me was the moksal with the cold cucumber soup.
Of course, the cold cucumber soup was delicious. The noodles were chewy, and the lemon flavor was strong.
The salt wasn't just regular salt, but seaweed salt.
Even my friend, who doesn't usually like Korean BBQ, said that it was a delicious restaurant after a long time.
The meat was great, but the side dishes were all delicious, so I ate until I was full.
To finish, we ordered yukjeon bibim-naengmyeon (cold noodles with pan-fried beef). There was plenty of yukjeon, and we quickly devoured it.
