A Delicious and Affordable Korean BBQ Experience at Ilpoom Daepae Icheon
Hello! Today I visited Ilpoom Daepae Icheon, a new restaurant in Jeungpo-dong. I'd like to introduce you to this great place, known for its affordable meat prices, diverse selection, and a fantastic salad bar!

Here's the exterior of Ilpoom Daepae Icheon. It's located right in front of an apartment complex and next to the main road, making it easy to find. As expected from a popular Jeungpo-dong restaurant, it was quite busy even in the early evening, and the parking lot in front was already full. Fortunately, Ilpoom Daepae is a large restaurant with two parking lots. Location and parking information are below.
This is the interior. I was surprised by how spacious it was! The initial impression was clean and very large, which I liked.
There's also a waiting area with arcade games to keep you entertained! It's great for kids (and adults) to play while waiting. It brought back memories for me, and I think adults can enjoy playing games with their kids while they wait.

The restroom is inside. The tables are mostly for four people, and there's also a long table for larger groups. The tables behind are separated, so you can enjoy your meal with your group without being disturbed.
They also have baby chairs, spoons, and forks for children.
Self-Serve Corner
Ilpoom Daepae Icheon has a self-serve corner with over 30 salad bar items! This adds excellent value, and the selection was diverse and plentiful.
The vegetables looked incredibly fresh. They were refilling the items quickly because there were a lot of people. There were also various types of mushrooms and two kinds of bean sprouts to choose from. You can pick what you like!
It's convenient to take a tray with plates so you don't have to go back and forth. Ilpoom Daepae Icheon also offers a variety of dipping sauces for the meat.
My mouth is watering just looking at this now.
Here's the menu at Ilpoom Daepae Icheon. From regular daepae (thinly sliced pork belly) to gochujang (Korean chili paste) daepae, quick-frozen pork belly, beef brisket, Korean beef chuck, duck, and more, all the options were very affordable.
Salad Bar Fee: ₩6,000 for 4 people
Black Pork Daepae (2 servings): ₩7,800
Gochujang Daepae (2 servings): ₩9,800
Quick-Frozen Pork Belly (1 serving): ₩4,900
Beef Brisket Daepae (1 serving): ₩4,900
Bibimbap (2 orders): ₩4,000
We visited with two adults and two children. All meat orders are 100g per serving, and you must order at least 500g for your first order. The salad bar fee is waived for children under 7!
We brought a generous amount of side dishes from the salad bar and started grilling the meat! We began with the black pork daepae. We decided to try the original flavor first.
Wow, it cooks so quickly, which is great! That's the advantage of daepae! You don't have to wait long before you can eat. We let the vegetables cook a bit longer while we started with the meat!
Eating it with onions eliminates any greasiness, so you can eat even more!
We also tried the gochujang daepae! It wasn't too spicy, so the kids could eat it well.
We started eating in earnest!
Ilpoom Daepae Icheon has a great variety of vegetables, so you can enjoy the meat in many different ways without getting tired of it.
After eating a lot of meat, we took a break with some rice cakes, potatoes, and eggplant. It was so delicious that we went back for seconds (or thirds!). As expected from a Jeungpo-dong 맛집 (delicious restaurant), the side dishes were very much to my taste, so I visited the salad bar several times. It's amazing that you can enjoy all this for ₩1,500!
Fried rice is a must-have with meat! It's even better because you can make your own!
I added more fernbrake and bean sprouts from the side dishes, and also a bit more kimchi! I created my own fried rice.
I made a heart shape! The rice cake and lettuce also tasted great in the fried rice! ^^
Finishing with coffee makes Ilpoom Daepae Icheon the perfect Jeungpo-dong restaurant!

There is parking space right next to the restaurant and a dedicated Ilpoom Daepae parking lot diagonally across the street. With two parking locations, you can come without worrying about parking.
