A Day Trip to Hongdae & Hapjeong, Seoul: Souvenirs, Escape Rooms, and Delicious Ramen!

Hello, it's Susu Ho Ho Bread! (수수호호빵입니다)
I'm recording my trip to Hongdae and Hapjeong in Seoul during the sweltering summer.
We decided to meet in the train after departing from Asan Station and Cheonan Station, respectively!
One person booked the wrong seat...and the other forgot their transportation card haha.
It was a chaotic party from the start!
Since I was in Hongdae after a long time, I wanted to visit a souvenir shop, so I went to Mushroom Paper Farm.
The space was smaller than I thought, but everything inside was related to diaries.
It was fun looking at each and every item.
Should I try making my own diary next year...?

I tried an escape room for the first time at Door Escape Hongdae, and it was more fun than I thought!
I couldn't take pictures because phones weren't allowed, but it felt like I was filming the Great Escape TV show, and finding clues was so much fun.
Am I surprisingly good at escape rooms...? (Even though we went over the time limit by 6 minutes)
The concept was that we stole something... I should try a horror one next time ;;

For dinner, we went to the main branch of Ore no Ramen. (Oh my... I went at the end of July, but they moved in late August!)
I had saved this ramen restaurant a while ago, and it was nearby, so we came here.
I was worried about a long wait, but we went a little before 5 PM, and there were only about two teams waiting.

They only had these two types of ramen!
So, we ordered one of each :)

Just seeing the Michelin guide makes me excited..
I wonder how delicious it will be!

Oh my, milky white broth!
First of all, the visuals pass!
It had a savory taste like chicken gomtang (chicken bone soup)!
It was the most delicious ramen I've had recently, so I can see why it's so famous.

This is Tori Paitan Ramen.

This is Kara Paitan Ramen.

I heard that Kara Paitan Ramen is a spicier version of Tori Paitan Ramen.
But to me, the two ramens weren't just different in spiciness.
I think the taste itself was a bit different!
Tori Paitan is more savory and tastes like chicken gomtang, so it feels good for the body!
Kara Paitan is naturally spicier and more stimulating!
Thinking about it, the spiciness might affect the taste ㅎㅎ
But they're both so delicious that I recommend trying both!

There were many cute erasers at the ODOM souvenir shop.
I like these useless and absurd things.
Even if I can't buy them, just looking at them is cute and healing,,

On the way to the cafe, there were people lining up!
It turned out to be Lee Chan-hyuk's Inspiration Well.
Lee Chan-hyuk from AKMU that I know has a well now,,
I was curious, but there were too many people, so I quickly passed by.

I found Cafe Blurr while looking for a Han River view cafe nearby.
I think the view was pretty, but the chairs weren't very comfortable to sit on for a long time.
I think it's because I had high expectations.
Still, it was a good cafe for seeing the Han River view.
I'm satisfied because we talked a lot while looking out the window.

Now it's time to return to Cheonan.
I'll come to Seoul again in the fall!
