Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at some fantastic restaurants in Bundang with friends. I wanted to share these culinary experiences, starting with a Korean restaurant that offers a diverse range of dishes prepared with heartfelt dedication.


1. Four Seasons Korean Cuisine (사계절한정식)

Four Seasons Korean Cuisine is located about a 10-minute drive from Pangyo Station. The restaurant occupies a large, standalone building, and its name is clearly visible, making it easy to find.

A spacious private parking lot is available right in front of the restaurant, ensuring convenient parking.

Stepping inside, I was greeted by a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The wood interior created a calm ambiance, and the staff welcomed us warmly, making us feel comfortable as we settled in.

There was ample seating, allowing us to choose our preferred spot. The generous spacing between tables made it easy to converse with my companions.

They also have very spacious group seating and private rooms. I could see why it's a popular venue for large gatherings and company dinners.

High chairs are available, making it family friendly. They were clean and sturdy, so I felt safe using them.

As soon as we sat down, we browsed the menu. I was surprised by the variety of dishes and set menu options available.

After some deliberation, I ordered the Braised Short Ribs & Soy Sauce Marinated Crab Set Menu. Before long, our table was filled with a delightful array of side dishes and the main courses.

The homemade side dishes were abundant, creating a truly impressive spread. It felt like a royal feast, and I felt satisfied just looking at it.

The soy sauce marinated crab, a main dish, was prepared for easy eating. I could immediately enjoy the sweet and savory crab meat.

The braised short ribs were served in a large earthenware pot. The ribs were thick and plentiful, reflecting the restaurant's generous spirit.

The rice, cooked in a stone pot, was fluffy and perfectly sticky. Each spoonful was flavorful and delicious.

I poured water into the remaining scorched rice to make *sungnyung* (숭늉, scorched rice tea). Covering it with the lid, it softened nicely by the end of the meal.

I picked up a braised short rib and savored the tender meat. The meat separated from the bone effortlessly and was incredibly tender.

The soy sauce-based sauce was not overly salty or strong. It was perfectly balanced, adding a savory and sweet flavor that complemented the meat.

The braised short rib broth was so delicious that I soaked the rice in it and topped it with the meat. The explosion of flavors was irresistible.

Next, I tried the soy sauce marinated crab. The tender crab meat burst with a sweet and savory flavor that reawakened my appetite.

Eating the crab with warm rice was simply divine. The crab was so meaty and tender that it wasn't overwhelming even after eating it continuously.

I gathered all the innards and meat from the crab shell and mixed it with rice. The rich flavor of the crab filled my mouth, earning a round of applause.

The restaurant also provided *Ugeoji doenjang-guk* (우거지된장국, napa cabbage soybean paste soup). The soup was refreshing, and the soft napa cabbage disappeared quickly, making me reach for my spoon again and again.

I also tried the grilled chicken thigh. The subtle smoky flavor was amazing.

It was delicious on its own, but the combination with pickled radish was fantastic. The crunchy texture and tangy flavor were perfect.

Thick slices of *bossam* (보쌈, boiled pork) were also served. There was no unpleasant smell, which made it even more enjoyable.

They even grilled two generous pieces of fish. The outside was crispy, while the inside was moist and flaky.

It was delicious to eat the grilled fish on top of the *sungnyung*. Each dish was unique and delicious, making me want to bring my parents to this Bundang restaurant.


2. Daldari Butter Rain In (달달이 버터레인인)

Hours: 09:00-21:00

Daldari Butter Rain In is where you can enjoy handmade desserts. It's also famous for custom-made cakes. They use good ingredients, making it a tasty and healthy cafe.


3. Wolf's Den (울프스덴)

Gnocchi: 24,000 KRW

Address: #215, U Space 1, 660, Daewangpangyo-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do

Hours: 11:00-23:00

Wolf's Den is a Western-style restaurant located near Pangyo Techno Valley 2nd Intersection. The unique name and interior design caught my eye. The prices are reasonable, and the food quality is excellent.


4. Villa de Mong (빌라드몽)

Stone Latte: 8,000 KRW

Address: 181, Seokun-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do

Hours: 11:00-22:00

Villa de Mong has a wonderful exterior with an exotic style. There is a large space for groups, and you can enjoy various foods. The desserts are diverse, and the signature latte is delicious.


5. Slow Monday (슬로우먼데이)

Americano: 3,500 KRW

Address: 10, Daewangpangyo-ro 606beon-gil, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do

Hours: 11:00-23:00

Slow Monday is a coffee shop where you can enjoy a refreshing Americano. You can also have various brunch options with coffee. The clean interior and friendly staff made it a memorable place.
