While searching for food near our accommodation in Jeju, I came across a restaurant specializing in local cuisine. When in Jeju, one must try Jeju food!
Located just 10 minutes from the airport, this spot was perfect for a hearty meal before starting our first day’s itinerary.

Thanks to its proximity to the airport, getting there was very efficient. The spacious parking facilities were also a plus, making it easy for novice drivers to park comfortably.
Upon entering, I noticed a clear display of the origin of the ingredients, which built trust in the establishment. The pride in their ingredients made waiting for the food a comforting experience.
The menu was rich with local flavors, showcasing Jeju's specialties from meat noodles to hangover soup.
After a brief wait, the neatly arranged dishes were served. Although not extravagant, they were satisfying and fulfilling.
The side dish, pickled radish, had a delightful crunch with a refreshing taste that complemented the soup and noodles well.
The well-aged kimchi provided a tangy flavor that cleaned the palate, balancing the richness of the meat.
The accompanying fermented seafood was impressively flavorful without being overly salty. A small piece on the meat enhanced the umami experience significantly.
The pickled onions provided a refreshing palate cleanser during the meal, with their crunchy texture and sweet soy sauce enhancing the appetite.
Finally, the much-anticipated meat noodle soup arrived, with a clear and light broth that looked very appealing. Its mild flavor was perfect for a hangover remedy.
The generous portion of meat showcased the owner's hospitality. The clean broth complemented the noodles beautifully.
Wrapping the noodles with well-fermented kimchi added a delightful taste, enhancing the broth's freshness.
The spicy and tangy bibim-guksu was visually striking and heightened my anticipation before tasting it.
Ordering bibim-guksu came with a warm broth that helped soften the texture, balancing the spiciness.
The red noodles, though they appeared spicy, were pleasantly flavorful. The chewy noodles combined with crunchy vegetables created a delightful texture.
The fragrant fern hangover soup was thick and rich, filled with abundant ferns, promising a harmonious blend of flavors.
Taking a big spoonful revealed the deep aroma of ferns and savory broth, making it an excellent choice for breakfast.
The generous bone soup had tender meat that was easy to pull off the bones, making it a fun dish to enjoy.
The mild yet deep broth was comforting, making it suitable for hangover recovery. The tenderness of the meat made it accessible for children as well.
The must-try Dombae-gogi was visually appealing with its glistening appearance, freshly boiled and incredibly appetizing.
Dipping it in the special sauce enhanced the meat’s natural flavor, creating a perfect balance of savory juices and seasoning.
The golden pan-fried black pork was delightfully thick, offering a unique chewiness. The subtle aroma of the pork was beautifully complemented by the egg batter.
Adding the house-made pickles created a fantastic harmony, cutting through the richness of the dish.
To finish off the meal, a refreshing plum tea provided a clean conclusion, soothing the stomach.
The omek rice cake received as part of a review event was chewy and delightful, perfectly ending the meal with a taste of Jeju.
Being able to enjoy such a variety of local Jeju cuisine near the airport was a significant advantage. Thanks to this hearty meal at the meat noodle restaurant, I could fully appreciate the charms of Jeju and continue my delightful journey.
