When traveling to Jeju, visiting popular restaurants is a must, right?

It can be challenging to satisfy everyone's food preferences, but everyone in our group had a delightful time at the restaurant Yuits in Ara-dong, Jeju. Today, I want to share my experience at this memorable Japanese restaurant that we visited during our trip to Jeju.

To cut to the chase, it was a restaurant that satisfied everyone. The diverse menu offered plenty of choices, all of which were incredibly delicious. It's well-known as a favorite among locals, often leading to long lines. The fact that it’s a local favorite speaks volumes! After tasting the food, I understood why so many people love it.

The presentation was stunning, making it perfect for Instagram. I wasn’t the only one; many visitors were busy capturing the beautiful dishes, confirming its status as a social media hotspot.

The ambiance at Yuits was inviting, with a clean and stylish exterior that was easy to find, located right next to the road. The entrance was well-organized, and I could tell that it might get busy, so I arrived around 11:15 AM for the 11:30 AM opening. The anticipation made the wait enjoyable.

Upon entering, I felt a cozy atmosphere. Although the space was not expansive, it was charmingly decorated, with all tables already set, indicating that lunch reservations were in high demand.

We were seated near a group area, and when I inquired, I learned that the restaurant was fully booked for the day. If we hadn’t made a reservation, we might have faced a long wait.

There were also two-person tables by the window, which were also reserved. The overall ambiance featured dim lighting and delightful decor, making it visually appealing. After being seated, I dove into the menu. Although I had already researched beforehand, I still found myself tempted to explore additional options.

We ordered the signature dishes at Yuits, which included a sashimi platter served with a refreshing salad and a mussel soup. The texture of the salad was delightful, and the soup had a wonderfully light flavor.

Rice and seaweed were also served, complementing the dishes perfectly. We ordered a variety of dishes, quickly filling our table with an abundance of food.

The sashimi arrived first, and its freshness was evident just by looking at it. Each piece was tender and flavorful.

Next was the abalone tempura rice, featuring fluffy white rice topped with crispy abalone. The aroma was delightful even before tasting it.

We also tried grilled pollock roe, a dish that needs no introduction. It’s one of my favorite snacks with drinks.

Then came the shrimp cream jjambbong, which had a light broth that paired well with the noodles, making it a great option for a hangover cure.

We indulged in mackerel sushi, which was surprisingly non-fishy and had a clean taste that was truly remarkable. It was recommended by many, and I can see why.

We couldn’t skip the assorted sushi, which came with udon. With ten pieces, it was perfect for one person. The visual appeal made me eager to dig in.

Feeling that the udon portion was a bit small, we added an oden nabe at the end. It was filled with various vegetables and had a refreshing taste.

After taking photos and videos, we began our meal. As fellow travel bloggers, everyone was serious about capturing the moment. We took our time savoring each dish.

In fact, 'devouring' would be a more accurate term. The food was so delicious that I couldn’t put down my chopsticks. I was curious about the skills of those who are passionate about food, and experiencing it firsthand confirmed their talent.

Personally, I was very satisfied with this place, as it offered a variety of dishes to enjoy. For those who prefer to stick to one dish, ordering one each would suffice, but for those who love variety like me, sharing different dishes is the way to go.

No matter who you go with, you can't go wrong with Yuits in Ara-dong, Jeju. The diverse menu allows for plenty of choices, and the fresh ingredients let you truly appreciate the flavors. The staff's bright energy also adds to the experience. I’ve saved this spot on my map and look forward to returning with family.
