Rather than chasing famous landmarks, this experience focused on slow meals, warm hospitality, and the quiet joy of eating well in Jeju.

During my trip to Jeju, discovering a hidden gem of a restaurant was an absolute delight.
The place I want to introduce first is Hanulraegi Gyorae Noodle Village, a local noodle spot quietly loved by nearby residents.
Located at 637 Bijarim-ro in Jocheon-eup, this restaurant operates daily from 9 AM to 4 PM, closing earlier if ingredients sell out.
The exterior shows its age, blending naturally with the surrounding landscape and creating a calm, comforting atmosphere.
Parking is conveniently available right in front, making it an easy stop even for first-time visitors.
Rather than flashy decor, the charm here lies in simplicity and warmth.
A Cozy Interior and Honest Menu
Inside, both table seating and floor seating are available, allowing guests to choose their preferred level of comfort.
The wall menu lists anchovy noodles, sea urchin noodles, bibim noodles, meat noodles, dumplings, and sticky rice sundae, all at very reasonable prices.
Unlike many noodle shops in Jeju, this place serves meat noodles using a refreshing anchovy-based broth.

The kimchi, generously coated in red seasoning, was perfectly fermented without any sharp sourness.

The owner is also an artist who has held solo exhibitions, turning the restaurant into a quiet gallery.
With works both large and small displayed, I even found myself purchasing a piece on the spot.

Aewol 390 is located at 50 Jung-eom 3-gil in Aewol-eup and operates daily from noon to 11 PM.
The highlight here was Jeju sweet shrimp sashimi, enjoyed while gazing out at the ocean.
Fresh local shrimp, a calming sea view, and a reasonable price made the meal deeply satisfying.
Lazy Pump, A Quiet Coffee Break by the Sea
Lazy Pump sits at 32 Aewolbukseo-gil in Aewol-eup and opens from 9 AM to 8 PM.
I stopped here for a peaceful break, enjoying both indoor and outdoor seating with ocean views.
The Jeju matcha creamy was rich, smooth, and memorable, making it a perfect pause in the day.

Located at 19 Jungang-ro 47beon-gil in Seogwipo, Watto Coffee is a place known among coffee lovers.
Its award-winning quality is reflected in every cup, and fresh beans are also available for purchase.
It felt like the perfect spot to pick up a thoughtful gift for friends.
Badada, Coffee with a Full Ocean View
Badada is located at 148-15 Daepo-ro in Seogwipo and operates from 11 AM to 6 PM.
True to its name, the café offers a wide-open view of the beach right in front.
With ample outdoor seating, it was an ideal place to enjoy coffee, sea breeze, and quiet relaxation.
