Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha Promise Flowers on the Subway if Drama Ratings Exceed 15%

Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha, the lead actors of tvN's weekend drama 'Typhoon Corporation,' have garnered attention with their delightful viewership rating pledge.
During a live broadcast on the 'Channel Fifteen Nights' YouTube channel on the 27th, the two actors, along with producer Na Young-seok, shared stories about the drama and communicated with fans in real-time.
On this day, PD Na suggested, "Let's decide on a viewership rating pledge." Lee Jun-ho pondered for a moment and then said, "Whether it exceeds the target or not is in the realm of the gods, but wouldn't it be more likely to happen if we express our wishes?"
He then stated, "I'll make two pledges. If the viewership rating exceeds 15%, I will hand out flowers on the subway. If it exceeds 20%, I will sing the OST 'Did You See The Rainbow?' while handing out flowers."
He added, "Min-ha (Kim Min-ha) has to be singing 'Forever' next to me," which turned the set into a sea of laughter.
Kim Min-ha readily agreed with Lee Jun-ho's suggestion, saying, "We have to do it together."
PD Na Young-seok was amazed, saying, "That's amazing." Lee Jun-ho specified the location of the pledge, saying, "We have to do it together, including the staff, on Line 1."
Not missing this opportunity, PD Na Young-seok firmly stated, "Then we need to decide. In the week that it exceeds 15%, let's do it briefly somewhere on the Incheon subway."
He also predicted, "Wouldn't the viewership rating exceed it by around November 15th?" raising viewers' expectations even further.
Lee Jun-ho expressed his determination to fulfill the pledge, saying, "If it exceeds, please set the date right away, PD-nim."
Then, PD Na joked, "If it exceeds 20%, we'll have to go to Line 2," creating an even warmer atmosphere.
At that moment, Kim Min-ha read a fan comment and burst out laughing, saying, "Typhoon CEO has caused another accident."
Lee Jun-ho immediately responded like his character in the drama, saying, "I had no choice. I'm sorry," recreating a line from the drama.
PD Na then said, "Wasn't that exactly like when you guys fight?" causing the set to erupt in laughter.
The actors' impromptu acting and chemistry provided an immersive experience that was no less than the actual drama.
'Typhoon Corporation' has aired up to episode 6 and will consist of a total of 16 episodes.
The latest episode 6 recorded an average viewership rating of 8.9% and a peak of 9.6% nationwide, ranking first among cable and general programming channels in the same time slot. The viewership rating in the Seoul metropolitan area also continued to rise, recording an average of 8.5% and a peak of 9.4%.
This drama, which unfolds with a long-term narrative, is receiving favorable reviews for its portrayal of realistic workplace dynamics and delicate emotional lines.
With this momentum, many believe that Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha's 'subway flower event' will soon become a reality.
Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha's pledge spread rapidly across various online communities and social media platforms immediately after the broadcast.
Netizens have shown enthusiastic reactions, saying, "Thank you for making a pledge without even consulting," "I didn't know a drama pledge could be so romantic,"
"I have to go to Line 1," "Is this pledge real? It seems like it will be fulfilled soon," "I have to go to work to receive flowers," and so on.
Among fans, posts predicting a "Line 1 commute chaos when 15% is achieved" are already continuing.
There is a great deal of interest in not only the success of 'Typhoon Corporation' but also whether the 'subway flower event' will actually take place.
